QUOTE(b48753 @ Dec 28 2009, 05:26 PM) it doest catch ur overflown oil when the engine overpressure at the cam head... Its actually oil vapor, not overflow oil. Usually happen when you doing high rev for a long time. ACP will only shift your powerband to higher or lower RPM but you can tune it to suits your driving style. It will not give more power unless you've already installed high-cam.

QUOTE(mao2 @ Dec 31 2009, 08:33 PM) true.. adjustable cam pully (ACP) works well with high-cam.. but the output of ACP on Sohc is considered mild.. ACP will truly shine if its with Dohc.. And will cost twice as much as SOCH (since need a pair of ACP).

You get what you paid, as long as you happy and felt it worth it, its good enough.

I think Kent20 missed out one point on the reason why branded header are more expensive, R&D cost.

QUOTE(mao2 @ Jan 7 2010, 12:23 PM) there is no such things as FC decrease when u changing ur exhaust setup.. all of those exhaust changing is rather a new setup that are different from the factory setting.. thus it doesn't contribute to decrease on FC.. its more towards increase or maintained FC only.. coz all of those changing is rather to gain more performance.. more performance means more fuel needed.. u hav to sacrifice to gain more.. if ur not willing then stop modding.. i've change my whole exhaust setup and the seller claims that i'll gain better FC.. but my FC increase abit from the previous stock setup.. i don't mind as the performance gain is much2 better.. Not really. By taking out the cat-con, you actually removed the biggest obstacles/restriction for the exhaust gas to flow. The only problem is that we tend to get heavier foot syndrome after that.

QUOTE(Andy0625 @ Jan 8 2010, 02:15 AM) Guys , so do you think removing the cat-con will damage the torque converter and gearbox ? Definitely clueless now. Squareballs : your cars is auto or manual transmission ? Exhaust connected to the engine, so removing cat-con will theoretically effect the engine 1st (if any)... Not sure why its related to torque converter/GB .... unless you always rev kaw-kaw after that.

Since there's alot of debate on which header is better, why not just post up dynochart as a proof.

I use a cheap RM180 cap ayam header, and it give +5hp and +5NM torque. Really satisfied.

QUOTE(squareballs @ Jan 10 2010, 06:10 PM) Kent wants to compare with his product 0-100.. I don't think it will give good comparison since I've already done several other mods after that.
