ya thats wad i talking about not changing aftermarket hid lamp bulb but the whole original HID headlamp, i think i better ask the p1 people or ketua polis ..... tongue.gif
*
I think if use the original Waja HID is ok..coz legally manufactured..
Then if stop by police/JPJ can claim it's original..no more normal headlight.. brows.gif

the infamous 16" wheel has metal fatigue problem

plus, they are very very very very very very heavy (notice how "very" is very stressed)

it's a first ever case where local car manufacturer issued a recall, and on-the-spot replacement. brave call from protong
*
That's why...coz many problems to the engine when using 'heavy' 16" rims...

Bro, if ur budget is RM1k, i don't think u can get HWL.. Unless if u can get RM1k, then go for HWL..

Or else, go for Sustec Not sure tanabe or not or Mines Gab Maybe made in Japan

From my experience, avoid APM..
*
For me GAB also should be avoided..even though not using it but 2 of my friends using it had bad experience with it.

LCP will help u.. its good coz helps ur RPM go down and up faster so u'll feel the lightness of accelerating.. but some don't like it as the good thing about it is also consider as not good.. its making u harder to timing the rpm (i think usually for manual car).. also when ur in gears and release the throttle the car will cruise abit and it take awhile to actually slowdown but with LCP the speed decrease faster due to the lightness of the LCP..
*
That's another reason i didn't switch to LCP, due to it's unable to sustain the engine power....

Nway anybody here ever use E-Manage or AFC Neo on Waja, especially Mitsu engine?

any bulk price for spark plug?please count me in also...hehe

B48753:LCP can't sustain engine power?what mean can elaborate?hehe...thanks!
*
Basic thing..coz it so light so the kinetic power stored is low..

i don't know anybody also using both of those on stock or mild mod engine as they said the effect is not that great.. usually heavy moded engine or turborized engine use as it helps alot.. but i've also read somewhere before that it can help to cheat the ECU on oil+air ratio that goes into the engine.. but if ur interested i think PZ have a package on E-manage and 1 other stuff can't remember.. coz about 1k++
*
I'm feels that need it coz the engine revv is smooth below 4k, but quite hard after it...

If say E-manage and plus that stuff, is it around rm1.5k?

I'm using SAFC. Not much power improvement but the engine runs smoother. After changing exhaust header, my engine will have slight vibration at around 3k++ rpm. Now its gone.
*
Erm..why don't use AFC Neo? Coz i think can control CPS..

AFC Neo is expensive and not much function, only looks nice. And it cannot control CPS activation also.
*
How about SAFC, can play with CPS ka?

not so sure.. coz it was April i think when there with my fren.. but there is possibilities of its around 1.5k..
and i think the other stuff could be a piggyback unit.. but need to go there to confirm coz can't remember..  sweat.gif  sweat.gif
i got mine for rm600 including installation.. i bought and install it at PZ.. side effect hmmm.. maybe u need to change timing belt faster i think.. as it can last for 100k km..
but got advise from fren that if the OEM timing belt proton can get till 100k.. if other such as bosch.. if ur reaching 90k km have to change oredi..

Added on December 13, 2009, 1:08 am

i think the effect on top-speed is rather normal as it is light so gaining higher rotation will definitely not a problem.. coz from a dyno test result.. the graft increase reaching top-speed at lower rpm and it's seems that the top-speed is higher then stock crank pulley.. btw the light rim story is that u can reach top-speed just that if its stays at 170km/h then going to 180km/h takes awhile and longer road needed..
*
So that's means can reach 180km/h at 5500rpm with LCP rather than original pulley 180km/h at 6000rpm at 4th gear?

What i was told by tyre man 205/60/15 is the best setup for more fuel efficient on waja.

hi guys, anyone of you guys use before fully synthetic and traveled some long distance like from penang to kl and experienced decreased in engine oil level? i am started a topic regarding this problem in technical section in FnF.
*
Using semi-synthetic and had same oil level decease. For sure usual if you 'rempit' all the way...brows.gif

If normal usage you should not have this kinda problem..if long haul journey with speeding oil level will decerase due to strees to engine..

You should check any small leakage at the top cover gasket. It's normal for 4G18p engine to have this leakage due to wear or the gasket..most of time i'll repace it in 45-50k km driving..

the fastest speed i go only 140 kmh wo.. so sad la, cant use, now dont know which engine oil to use, cau already planed to use fully synthetic. i just did overhaul some 25k km ago.
*
i see..
i don't recommend full synthetic to 4G18 engien..not so suitable due to vert thin particles..
i used to go for full synthetic (motul) and due to too thin particles the oil even can seep through gasket to water radiator..

Try APM performax..good for stock suspension..
Or if you have mooorree money, go for sachs.

wah...im using bahdral fully-sync 5w40....i think allright so far....how to check whether the oil can seep through the gasket??
*
you'll see the radiator water contaminated with oil..
then it could be low viscosity or else..coz did some porting last time..
but so far using idemitsu semi synthetic has caused no problem for me..

This is the Waja CPS Steering.

Ya, I asked quotation for wrapping, it cost around that price, that's why I prefer a new steering better than do wrapping. Some more do wrapping u must get a temporary steering to use too. So who interested please let me know, so that I can ask him to order 1st.
*
Bro..ask him if he has brown colour strip instead of silver..if he has it i'll like to join u all.. biggrin.gif
