As far as I know , only stainless steel air filter suitable to use air blower to blow at it. If you do that to the K&N , most likely the gap will be much bigger thus allowing more dirts into your TB.

You can save a few hundred for getting a used K&N but you'll pay few hundred more when problem arise later. It's your choice afterall.
By the way, I went out to hunt for brake pad today again. Bought myself a Trestor Deluxe Organic at first and then follow by a Bendix Metal King Titanium. Trestor Deluxe Organic was an impulsive purchase which I though it's a performance brake pad afterall only notice it's general pads so I go out again to get the Metal King. Does Metal King Titanium comes with center groove ?

Guess I was in bad luck today though , passenger side rear tyre suddenly got sort of explosive sound when I just wanted to go back. Not sure whether I hit something during cornering or it just expand like that(luckily it din't explode). sad.gif Sigh.
Update : Not to mentioned that I went to workshop to get my Bendix Metal King installed and though of changing a new set of copper/platinium spark plug there but after the mechanic take out the Spark plug , the first one counting from left was with quite a lot of engine oil thus changing the Spark plug seal and a new set of gasket that sets me back for around hundred and fifty bucks include workmanship.  sad.gif

Those scratches on rim is way before I drive this car. But scratches on the tyre itself makes me puzzle.  hmm.gif

He selling at RM205, maybe BP will reduce price again. What did u guy think? hmm.gif hmm.gif

4350? why is there a additional 50 there? i tot usually HID comes with 4300?  hmm.gif
I also heard quite a number of people kena road block because of their old Waja installing HID, some kena ticket, some kena scolding but eventually let them chao, troublesome lah, no offence sam, just advising.
*
I am still doubt about using HID. But I check JPJ rules, its no mentioning of illegal for HID. hmm.gif

From there you can see there is nothing mention legal or illegal for installing HID. Some more the note written will update frequently. This is Malaysia boleh rclxub.gif notworthy.gif Actually they shud allow only for old Waja to install HID cos too dim for SAFETY as JPJ always mentioning.

Never kena before.. Coz i plant it on my fog lamp.. Got roadblock i straight off the fog lamp..

For my headlamp, i plan to get CCFL angel eye ring or LED eagle eye ring.. Guys can tell me which one is better?? CCFL or LED angel eye??  notworthy.gif
*
The eye ring is tempting but cos of the reflecting in the headlamp make it look not nice. If the ring lit without the reflection, it would be very nice. biggrin.gif

QUOTE(ray86 @ Dec 17 2009, 04:06 PM)
major service this saturday.. 118k km already.. last service 113k km

Here are the list of stuff I will be doing:

Flush ATF
Change Engine Oil(semi syn 10w-40)
Oil filter, Air filter
Brake pad (front) - Bendix Metal King
Balancing and alignment - if got time
Gasket cover
maybe change the belts( bird sound )
Anything else I missed?
I also will be checking my brake calipers, I think it is jammed, cos occasionally when I brake, it will have a very very rough metal grinding sound(damn scary).. also, is there a aircon filter? if so does anyone know where is it?
Oh, and I will finally be fixing the VS we bulked tongue.gif

hopefully all is good la..
*
Lolz... VS no problem so far... can feel the different too. I heard Waja Air con filter just below the dashboard but i not sure. U forget to check power steering fluid, brake fluid, watercoolant. For ATF just make sure u using the genuine proton sp III fluid. How many liter your mech advise to do flushing?

I dunno yet how many liters but I want to do a full flush, I heards it 5liter or more?

Powersteering just top up right? My brakefluid still clear yellow, should be ok.. and my coolant also ok, my radiator cracked 2 months back and i have been monitoring it and seems ok:)
*
Flushing require 8 liter to clear completely. Some mech use 7liter biggrin.gif
