this game is a must buy for PC gamer.. if you have uber rig.. try use the 'uber sampling' options :wink:

for those who bought the witcher ee director's cut from gog.com, i have a ques to ask. i have downloaded the first part using browser (2 gb to be precise), but i feel like wanted to try the gog downloader. will the downloader detected that i have downloaded halfway or it will restart from the beginning?

I didn't download the 2gb segment. IDM kept on disconnected most of the time & can't resume. I go with GoG downloader though

you can pause downloads on gog downloader - meaning yes, it will detect that the download has paused.

i cannot use the gog downloader now as it will restart from 0. I already downloaded two parts, so i think i just continue using the browser.

Kill the GoG client.. kill gogdownloader.exe in task manager. Run the Gogdownloader again, remove from list (Right click Witcher 2, Remove->From List).

Goto GoG mainpage and re add the Witcher2.. it will picks off from the last downloaded bits and continue.

This is on the first Witcher...of coz the second one i ordered physical copy from bro pbbseller

Still preloading.. few hundred MB to go.. I can't decide CE or Premium yet

I read somewhere, the combat is similar to hack and slash style but can block opponent attacks but still they maintain the RPG combat aspect.

installation failed the first time. had to disable my Avira antivirus and reinstall again. after that the game loads up fine.

it's really a gorgeous game. and what's awesome is they've imported my Raven armor, Aerondight and Gwalhir! yay!
