Hi guys... I just bought a TVIX N1 at Lowyat.. Works great but last night stumbled a problem when watching an episode of K-Drama DAMO. The video was blocky and choppy and the message "Unsupported GMC" popped out. How do I resolve this? Pls help..
*
It is mostly the file problem. If you can play other mkv files smoothly, than confirm this file is corrupted at some where in hard disk segment.

Will the previous bluecore.audio patch work with 2.0.8? Or we have to wait for another version to go along with 2.0.8?

When is the new TVIX Xroid A1 (Sigma 8656 500Mhz chipset which also plays RMVB V9/10 files) coming.
Wanted to get the S1 but checked some dealers out and your S1 stocks are running out / not available.
Also, any news on the new 3TB HDD support from Divico?

Not so soon my friend. ETA on May.
Sorry for the S1, it is very popular and unexpected so fast out. New stock will be come in by middle of March. Btw, Mid Valley still got some.
If u format 3TB with ext3, S1 can support.

Hi all, can any of the 6600 or Slim S1 user enlighten me the following:

- I've BDRip in M2TS format which allows playback of the Interactive / Pop-up Menu [for scene selection/subtitle/adusi setup/..],
My question is: Can this Interactive Menu being displayed or plackback exactly like what we're playing Bluray Disc on a BD Player? I played this file using Dvico N1 but it goes straight into the movie [bypass the Interactive Menu] which i find it inconvenient to have scene selection for my kids viewing.

- Anyone tried on the "bluecode" to enable DTS-HD MA on Slim S1 or 6600? Is it a downmix or a direct bitstream?

Thanks in advance for your input.

hi guys just to confirm.

i attached via USB 2 x 4-bay hotway enclosures, with a total of 8x2TB hard drives on board...

the dvico 6600 was only able to discover up to SIX of the hard drives (not all 8)...

im hoping for a firmware in the future that will allow for the device to handle more than just the 6...

Due to N1 RAM is 128MB only, it just play folder, no menu. But S1 can have a simple pop up menu. If the Bluray Interactive using BDJava 1.0, than S1 can hv full menu. But if it is BDJava2.0, than u just press the menu button, a simple menu will pop up for u to select.
The bluecore can direct bitstream the DTS HDMA and TrueHD.

Hi friend, as for realtek chipset 1283 and 1073, the max it can detect is 6 external USB only. If u want to detect unlimited, pls use LAN.
Thanks.

Any comment on the poor US review on Divico S1 per link below:
http://www.anandtech.com/show/4212/tvix-sl...realtek-rtd1283

Have been using this strictly as direct Media Player (no network, streaming, web radio, etc) for the past few months but find issues raised by US reviewer not too relevant. My set is Realtek 1055 based, able to pass thru digital sound via BlueCore and have no problem showing Bluray menu???

The reviewer did not mention problem in showing Bluray menu. He mentioned that Slim displays bluray menu in BD-Lite format [e.g. cannot preview scene selection during playback or at start up] and it doesn't support playback Interactive Pop-up Menu [e.g. you can preview scene selection with picture for every chapter] which is embedded in the M2TS file. This is the limitation on Realtek chipset versus Sigma chipset.

i have one Dune HD MAX [Sigma chipset] that can playback M2TS file with scene selection exactly like playing Bluray Disc in BD Player however i find Slim's picture quality outperform Dune.
