read carefully: I use the GPS without AGPS enabled. With AGPS, it'll lock within 10 seconds usually. But the camera will defintely pales in comparison to the N82...heck i'm very interested to get an N82 as a second phone...

Actually iphone damn cheap overseas...only RM1K for 3G and about RM1.5K for 3GS....not expensive at all. Here, the gov tax it kaw-kaw like ur Toyota and Honda....and Maxis makes big money by holding the monopoly license to sell it.

It's all about croniysm.

btw, iphone really syiok. It is a class of it's own. No other mobile platform can come close to the Appstore apps. It's all about the software. Just enjoy your 5800. All phone has pros and cons. No need to bash the iphone just because you don't like it.

That 'RM500' bills for 24months is anything but free. I look at the plans and laugh...Maxis really wanna suck blood. Btw, i find it very hard to find a suitable plan for voice and unlimited internet access....best i come across is Celcom's RM250 plan...but that is way too expensive. Now, i have 2 sims, one for voice and one for data, but it is not pratical to swap the SIMS out of my 5800 everytime...

Maxis plans are so freaking expensive with a tight cap it isn't even worth mentioning....and DIGI i'm not so sure, seems very hard to find the plan i'm looking for at their website. I think DIGI's 3G is only for broadband, not voice+data. Their voice+data goes back to EDGE i believe.

Because the 5800 is Nokia's best selling phone ever...see so many own one even from my company.

Where can get touchscreen phone, original warranty, 3G, WIFI, GPS, 8GB memory, 16mil colour LCD , 3.2M autofocus camera, Symbian O/S...everything for less than RM 1.1K?? Sure hot seller mah.

Guys...do you charge your Nokia phone with other chargers other than the one that comes with it? I mean older Nokia chargers. Is it safe? I noticed the voltage and Amp ratings is slighlty different on the chargers...

What about those cheap stand alone RM20 chargers from China? Safe to use? Won't kill ur batteries??

Dei...you got read properly or not? "Stand Alone Chargers". This are the chargers that plug into your power socket and you can just put your battery there without the phone. I've multiple batteries and swapping the battery to charge in the phone is too cumbersome.
So far i haven't seen Nokia selling such accessories. If there is i'll gladly buy one if the price is reasonable.

And how do you guarantee original Nokia won't explode? Nokia probably OEM their batteries from someone else. Even Sony laptop batteries exploding all the time...and iPhone also rumoured to explode.

And yeah, i guess it's the time taken to charge are different. New chargers charge pretty fast compared to old chargers.

Aiya...just disable the A-GPS lar, why so pening wor. So far, the GPS has been working great, needs only about 3 minutes to lock on. No problem wat. I just stick the phone to my car phone's holder(RM20 or less if u can find). Start Garmin. Select a destination and it'll try to lock on to the satellites. Start the car driving. After 2 or 3 minutes, can get lock already. FOC.

So far, i didn't wait. Just start driving, no problem. Of course, i only drive at 60km/h or so, since just started out and not yet into the main roads. 3 minutes is very acceptable for FOC locking. So far, i haven't encounter signal lost problem at all unless i got down from the car and walked into a building.
