that's the funny thing...after getting into the car on the way back...my wife asked me, Why there's no sound from the surround??

about a week later, sychong sms me & said he forgot to turn on the 5.1 ch doh.gif so we were listening only to 3.1ch...

but the sound is very crisp...i quite like it...esp the piano black high gloss finish...altho...the minus point for me was the metal grile....actually prefer fabric grile type...

anddd...sychong still havent got the wifey permission to get a blu ray player as yet...so, didnt get to test HD audio...forumer geforce came equipped with loads of Blu ray disc tongue.gif

now i'm poisoning him getting a POHD icon_idea.gif & BD player rclxms.gif

not the rep lah, the price i stated is my good friend (U schoolmate, US citizen by now) give to me which is including the everything ship, tax and etc.
daryl is the one found the speaker company and he calculated the shipping, tax and exchange rate, he think it's quite reasonable.

i also went to sychong's house(hehe.. nicely renovated) to listen to the sound from the speakers.

first, the outlook is superb like daryl said. black piano glossy with small size but heavy as it's wood and it's not plastic.
it's nicely fit in the living hall and you wife wouldn't make any complain abt it.
i am kind of love the metal grill. it's just magnetically stick to the speakers but v tight. fabric is easy to collect dust and this metal grill can easily take it out to wash and put it back.

regarding the sound, i rated it 4.5 out of 5. of course, you need to have a woofer.
it's crisp and powerfull. it's very clear even the AV turn to v high volumn. haha... i can hear the surround now(while daryl couple not able). he did switch on the 5.1 channel on the DVD player with his 7 speakers(all the statelite models from the speaker company). very clean sound from all the models.

it's not like the ordinary speakers like those selling at seng heng 5.1 LG or Philips home theater set. it's really in the classification of HIFI category.

hehe.. i am more sound like the spk company rep oredi.
of course not lah as i am a buyer and i think i will ask sychong's friend to ship some back for me.

i found out the spk company have sales now. 20% off and i waiting sychong's friend give me the latest price.
i also found tat this spk company is back by D&M Holdings (The company also owns audio titans Denon, Marantz, Snell, McIntosh, and Boston Acoustics) in their web sites and it's not really no brand as sychong said. Just wonder y they don't ship internationally.

thks

waarrr congrats congrats your new BD player rclxms.gif thumbup.gif so the wifey finally give lampu hijau huh?? rolleyes.gif

i'm no expert, but from my understanding, i think you need to set those speakers as 'small' instead of large or big. and its applicable for all your speakers including the ones on the front.

try set it to small & see if it works...otherwise need ask the elite group here...
