not really sure about this one. i was at the service center today. and they told me it cost rm80 to install new firmware. as for doing it yourself. maybe forgotten can help you. i think he did something like that before.... not sure though.

hahahahha. i try already. ahha. also press the screen with two fingers and everything hahaha. but sent it to the shop today at 11am. and phone ready to be picked up at 2pm. so fast leh. but not under warranty so had to pay rm220. but they replaced the whole screen. or something like that. i dunno also. but now i need a new screen protector. but it sucks now cause the plastic thing around the 4 main buttons and directional pad peeling a bit. dunno what those guys did. but at least its working

the same like before. i notice no difference. did the touch screen test also very accurate. so im happy with the results. sent it to the service center at gardens.

SE SC is quite strange. hahaha. for me it took only 4 hours to change a new screen and for some it takes days to weeks. they are an odd mix. but i think if you go to the smaller SC then its faster maybe

the font file is for reading reading chinese only and not for writing. although the first page link is out of date i think. i will update it soon.

i updated the chinese fonts/reading ability for the phone on the front page. but i havent checked the file on the link. because im in china and i think megaupload is censored or something. you will have to check it yourself.

but you have to access the site from your phone. its somewhat like GPS, but of course not as good as the real deal. but its probably better than the garmin software from what ive heard.

what type of problem? touch screen not sensitive or is the touch screen completely all over the place? mainly the two options you have is:
1. update the phone and pray it works.
2. replace the screen. i changed mine last time at the service center in gardens. around rm250-300 i think. i forgot the exact price already sorry.

np, it happened to me after i dropped my phone. after that, cannot call, cannot pickup call, everything became a big problem heh. but now its good. well. good luck. hope you can get a nice new screen or buy a new phone

yeah new screen cost around 180-200 at official SE repair center if not covered by warranty. maybe get cheaper elsewhere. when my screen got busted, the price for me is fine since i bought an ori and never had any problems with it. although a lotta people seem to be getting lemons.
