People always have to pick on somebody to complain about, and certain players tend to get more slack than others. I didn't manage to watch the Fulham match so I can't comment much on either player, but for some unknown reason both Andy and Fabs have failed to reproduce the sparkling form that they are capable of. Maybe it's the high standards that people have for them that unfortunately highlights every single less-than-stellar display; or maybe both of them do suffer from some sort of niggling injury.
Exactly. 1-0 or 5-0, it's still 3 points and I'd gladly take any victory.

The headlines for the next few days will not be too kind to us, but I couldn't care less about what they say as we are the ones picking up 3 points. We cannot expect the team to win by 4 goals in every match. Nevertheless, with Keane and Torres stealing the show yesterday it's likely that our strikers will continue to be undervalued and underrated. Speaking of which, it's worth noticing that whenever the other players don't score Robin pops up and does the job; but whenever the others are getting great opportunities Robin pales in comparison. Does that mean that he's being less selfish and creating chances for others, or does that mean he switches off when others are in form? I'd like to believe it's the former.

Anyway, it's apparent that the competition between Vito and Woj is bringing out the best in them. I admit that from the preseason matches Woj impressed me slightly more, but with both of them battling it out it can only be a good thing. Perhaps the lack of competition from the injured Luk is making Manny complacent and hence losing focus.

One question to ask... why did the match get 5 minutes of extra time? From the amount of substitutions and goals scored, it probably doesn't deserve such a long addition. Were there long periods of inteferences like injuries or delays in freekicks etc?

Thanks for the highlight links... Robin's goal from Fabs beautiful chip was superb... gentle control to bring it down and stroked it sweetly into the far corner. Luckily it didn't hit the post this time
