I feel that most posters are very biased.Diaby had a good game although not the best in Arsenal colors. He worked his socks off in this game.I didn't see the old lazy Diaby in this game.Hope he keeps working hard.Maybe im impressed because he always looked very lazy and seems to be not interested to be on the pitch.BTw,he did gave away possessions too.
IMHO,Arshavin was poor and below par.I guess he's not on brilliant form like he used to be last season yet this season. He haven't showed the kind of match winning performance this season yet.Is he really match fit? MOTD Highlights will be up in few hours. This post has been edited by ncool15: Sep 27 2009, 02:54 AM |

QUOTE(StarGhazzer @ Sep 27 2009, 08:45 AM) People always have to pick on somebody to complain about, and certain players tend to get more slack than others. I didn't manage to watch the Fulham match so I can't comment much on either player, but for some unknown reason both Andy and Fabs have failed to reproduce the sparkling form that they are capable of. Maybe it's the high standards that people have for them that unfortunately highlights every single less-than-stellar display; or maybe both of them do suffer from some sort of niggling injury. You're right. The 5 minutes is because f substitution and some injury.Manone himself was got down around 3 times in second half and Gallas around twice. There were so many stoppage in the game due to injuries. So that is why its 5minutes.Exactly. 1-0 or 5-0, it's still 3 points and I'd gladly take any victory. The headlines for the next few days will not be too kind to us, but I couldn't care less about what they say as we are the ones picking up 3 points. We cannot expect the team to win by 4 goals in every match. Nevertheless, with Keane and Torres stealing the show yesterday it's likely that our strikers will continue to be undervalued and underrated. Speaking of which, it's worth noticing that whenever the other players don't score Robin pops up and does the job; but whenever the others are getting great opportunities Robin pales in comparison. Does that mean that he's being less selfish and creating chances for others, or does that mean he switches off when others are in form? I'd like to believe it's the former. Anyway, it's apparent that the competition between Vito and Woj is bringing out the best in them. I admit that from the preseason matches Woj impressed me slightly more, but with both of them battling it out it can only be a good thing. Perhaps the lack of competition from the injured Luk is making Manny complacent and hence losing focus. One question to ask... why did the match get 5 minutes of extra time? From the amount of substitutions and goals scored, it probably doesn't deserve such a long addition. Were there long periods of inteferences like injuries or delays in freekicks etc? |

QUOTE(StarGhazzer @ Sep 27 2009, 09:05 AM) Lots of kicks given to our lads it seems..... Btw,Was the highlight quality all good?I just finished downloading from RS but there's pixel all over.Used both WMP and Realplayer. Thanks for the highlight links... Robin's goal from Fabs beautiful chip was superb... gentle control to bring it down and stroked it sweetly into the far corner. Luckily it didn't hit the post this time |

Diaby isnt shit like those who mentioned.Maybe you just start watching Arsenal,if you have been following this club for some time, you would know Diaby's real potential.2-3 years back he almost looked like the next big thing until the the two-footed challenge from Dan Smith that sideline him.He would dash in a tackle steal the ball, nutmeg his opponent and bring the ball forward and pass it to one in better position. That is why he got the nick of ' The Next Viera" besides his look.He has everything in him to be a midfield maestro bar passing. He just need to sort out his decision-making and he'll all be good to deliver for us.Tell me a player in our squad that can bring the ball with pace, power and drive?

It was a great attacking display from our lads for some time. Also Cesc was absolute brilliant. His best game since Milan??Love to see King Henry watch the game, that might have given our lad some confidence to go on and win the game in style.I'm really proud of what called mental strength of this squad.Goals are assured with this side and we dont look like the same squad as we were a year back when once a goal conceeded, that's it.It's either gonna be a draw or lose.Vermaelen was at fault for the first goal but i like the way he bounce back and score a belter and Gallas and Song was at fault for the second.Song could have done better by anticipating the ball.
MOTD will be up in moments. This post has been edited by ncool15: Oct 5 2009, 09:13 AM |

QUOTE(Java @ Oct 13 2009, 08:02 AM) Vela? For me thats a big no no.If there's an Arsenal player that will lift the Ballon D'Or,its gotta be either him or Wilshere. Both of them are our next big thing. He just need to be patient. This post has been edited by ncool15: Oct 13 2009, 08:58 AM |
