i dunno.my perception might be wrong though.eduardo and fabregas went up.cesc should have known that eduardo will pass to him.he mistimed his run and let the ball go to the liege's player.

the commentator said that mannone still haven't got the touch for the ball during the first goal.i think the players gave him too much security.song put the ball out of play eventhough mannone was ready to get the ball.and gallas tackle that leads to the 2nd goal.did mannone really have a good save last nite?

the answer is no....

he had nothing to do after the 2 goals...
just some routine ball collecting & cross catching...

but his kicking were awesome last nite....he kicked from his penalty box & the ball reach to opposition penalty box.... blink.gif

My choice are Eduardo, Arshavin & Vela.

Indeed he provides assist but when we needed him to score aginst MU & MC, he was dissappointing. He should play as Left Winger instead of a striker or target man.

u clearly doesnt have a vision to judge whoever deserve to be in the first team... every player has a role...but the real goal is to maintain team performance....regardless the goal scorer is vermalen or RVP...

u judge rvp by his recent performance only..... but only wenger knows his real ability/contribution to the team....his commitment during training.....he's a freekick taker...his experienced in this level... all these factors will be in wenger's mind...not only his RECENT scoring record....

so clearly u still have to learn to a lot before criticize wenger's decision....

I understand RVP has better experience than Vela in footbal but at times we need to give chance to youth players to shine as Nicky is not doing his stuff as wht we expect. Vela can be a backup striker ahead of Eduardo & Arshavin. RVP should stick as winger.

Vela's performances for Mexico is excellent especially in 2009 CONCACAF Gold Cup.
I hope he returns ASAP from injury. We need his finishing skills

Goals
1 Wayne Rooney Manchester United        6
2 Jermain Defoe Tottenham Hotspur        5
3 Darren Bent Sunderland                      5
4 Didier Drogba Chelsea                        5
5 Fernando Torres Liverpool                    5
6 Louis Saha Everton                              4
7 Emmanuel Adebayor Manchester City    4

Definitely Drogba far better than any other strikers with his goals & assists. I hope our strikers can be like him.

hey...its only 5 games to the season...this stats only relevant near end of the season...
even rooney & drogba had their off form before....i think it's not really necessary for me to give where or how long their duration without goal....but stop whuinning RVP for godsake....come here when RVP start scoring for fun later ok ?? becoz we have faith in him...if u dont, please support the team which drogba & rooney are playing for...

Ohh... is it?
Then why don't u tell me wht has been happening to Arsenal for the last 5 years? How many goals has RVP scored from freekick for this season or last season?

The point here is we need clinical finisher & Arsenal is  missing that.
So go back & study ur vision.

PS: I don't think RVP will ever score more than 30 goals for Arsenal this season as he wil get injured soon or later due to his strength level. After Henry, Ade did it but not RVP.

You newbie should go study ur vision back la..or u’re just another glory hunter… for me, I enjoy every moment of the past 17 years supporting arsenal…..from highbury to ashburton grove.....from george graham to arsene wenger....from ian wright to carlos vela....we won, we lost… I enjoyed every moment watching this young team developing even without a trophy for the past 5 years…..

One player doesn’t make a team…torres is a prolific goal scorer, gerrard is a dynamic midfield player, but they never win EPL…..what is important is to keep supporting your team, your player, your manager…..

U always jump into conclusion to what u see…wenger should know more about arsenal football club and a guy named Robin van Persie, than a newbie in lowyat forum…. If u feel u know more please apply to be an arsenal manager….once u appointed I’ll always support u then…till then, argue whatever u like, call mr wenger if u feel neccesery, I’ll rest my case..

In wenger we believe !! go gunners !!
