i understand ur frustration, having song is better than diaby, mind u, if song have been red carded, we're playing 10 men with a goal behind (that time still 2-1) it is much tougher than playing 11 vs 11 although the presence of diaby almost equal to invisible

about the world class goalkeeper, i can't recall any goalkeeper of top 20 ranking country in FIFA willing to sell their keeper, unless you wan david james, example: italy goalkeeper: dun think juventus wanna sell buffon, real madrid wont sell casillas either, it is hard to acquire a world class goalkeeper (top 20-30 ranking country) unless the player himself request for a transfer, and lehmann case is rare.

heh dude, the player pool or rather, the goalkeeper pool is huuuuge. You have only listed a few starting for their national team, what about the dozens who missed out on that one goalkeeping spot? I seemed to remember there was some good goalie on free transfer from the past few years, marco amelia (ex livorno), the old guy canizares (ex valencia), hildebrand (ex stuggart), yohann pele (ex le man)... and then there was the rustu recber whom we almost signed before we got lehman.. all from top 20 ranking country

But you can hardly call any of them world class just because of their passport, good keeper nevertheless, some as only as good as almunia. The point is world-class goalkeeper is not in abundance. The only way to get one in your team if your team is not Mancity is to nurture them from young age and develop them. That's we path we're taking.

Cech (we almost got him too), Julio cesar, and arguably Buffon.

Snap them up when they're a promising talent and develop them, hopefully become a top keeper.

We have 3 young goalkeepers in the squad atm, hopefully one of them will turn up good
