i onli take 2.5 in SEGI...others in Mc Orange...SEGI lecturers sux nowadays...good ones onli left haneef n ckf....just my 2 cents

be careful of FMC aka 2.4...it's 1 of the killer papers...many students fail dis paper n had to study outside...gotta put more effort on it

baitumal is it d exam hall at maluri, cheras? my fren said take LRT to maluri station then take cab wo....it's near d maluri masjid there...if wanna walk also can....but quite far le...correct me if im wrong

spent d last 3 days attending CKF's 2.3 IRC. now i understand y so many ppl say he is good. he is indeed GOOD!!!

he jokes alot besides teaching...bout study...bout his experience...bout d reality of dis world...n he ordered kuih-muih for us twice a day during our break!!! honestly i've never attend any IRC providing refreshment lo...

in short, i think RM300 is quite worth it la...i just love d way he teaches and how he motivate us to study hard...most probably going to attend his 3.2 next sitting

2.3 is actually a quite easy paper if you know how to tackle the questions and able to memorize the calculation formats coz basically u can spot the first 4 questions. i studied 3 days before exam and got 46 marks in last sitting. let's pray history won't repeat

i'm taking 2.4 this sitting but i've signed up for chan tze kang's irc at mcorange. perhaps u wanna exchange tips with me?

yeah i'm missing his class too...it was fun and i got to learn alot of 'life theories' which are good for us.

coolly, can u request CKF not to conduct 3.2 classes on sat sun next sitting? or mayb conduct extra class on weekdays nite or wat...coz i have difficulties attending sat sun classes yet i wish to attend his class wo

finally im back to share some 2.3 tips wif u guys...have been busy attending IRC n doing revision for d past 1 week...exam really stressful!!!

1. company tax marks targeted: 20/30
- memorize all d expenses whether allowable, not allowable or double deduction n their explanations
- d explanation must b specific. try to avoid explanations like 'wholely and exclusively incurred in d production of income' or 'incurred in d normal course of biz'
- capital allowance is expected to b examined

2. personal tax marks targeted: 15/25
- S13(1)(a) and (b) r expected to b examined in details. must b able to distinguish which benefit falls under which section
- small value asset, repairs vs maintenance, royalty income, child relief (new changes)

3. sales n service tax marks targeted: 8/15
- bad debts
- mostly theories

4. RPGT marks targeted: 10/15
- memorize d RPGT computation n isi tempat kosong
- NGNL especially transfer of asset from individual to co controlled by him/her [para 3(b)]
- private residence exemption (new changes)

5-7. others: marks targeted: 3/15
1. CA [HOT!!!]
2. resident status
3. individual tax planning
4. SAS for co
5. case law R or E
*FYI s108 not targeted




not sure whether i 've omitted any of them coz my notes r currently not wif me...just type out based on wat i rmb...will add more once i get back my notes...hope it helps ya

just to inform u guys tat CKF has posted up the tips for ALL papers on the notice board next to SEGi's auditorium. according to him, the tips are from his UK fren . but i found out tat the tips are 95% same wif the tips in FTC Kaplan website lo . anyway perhaps u guys can have a look at them

btw, does anybody have any tips for 2.6? dis paper is really killing me man...wif d global pass rate of 38% last sitting, im not confident i can pass. moreover i have 4 papers dis sitting . thinking shud i drop it anot. damn audit!!! haihz.....coolly any tips/advice to share?
