Dear all 3.2 candidates.....

I got a Question here regarding LIHC.

For LIHC, should we include the exempt income when computing the apportionment for common expenses and capital allowance? The examiner article on IHC is silent on this and it's not stated in the law s60FA on should/should not apportion those items to exempt income. Logically speaking, i thk should be included. If not, my taxable income will get all the portion of expenses and hence my chargeable income will drop.....

niu, exempt incomes are not included to compute the fraction/% of comment expenes and capital allowance as in DAYA LEASING CASE

but exempt incomes are included in the calculation of 80% test whether it's listed or unlisted investment holding company.

Ya la.....but that one is leasing, this is LIHC woh...can mixed up together n apply daya leasing case? But i refer to the case in CKF latest text book pg 248 10.6-it only on gross income basis mah....so exempt or non-exempt gross income? It's not mentioned.
If you know which page/resources got say that....pls let me know. Thx!

Actually do u all know what to study for "Personal finance" in P3.2(MYS)?

Is it all the areas as covered in CKF's text book?

Aiyo....2day 3.2 was really a nightmare la.....
So difficult, section B really difficult 2 do......aiyo, i dun thk got hope also....
Q2 UIHC, dont know y....the Q is os weird...i feel like got error only.....

Ya loh....shocking for me too    ....the Q2 is so weird  ....i thk richard thorthon old d la.....it's time 2 change for a new examiner....hahaha
Also, Q6 n letter writting i never heard b4 the incentive.....dunno how 2 write....
Q7 the case laws are totally greek to me except daya leasing...s17A dont know what is that...in our syllabus? Q5 is like horror....so complicated.....

Anyone knew that sedaya also got electricity failure on tuesday when 3.1 paper was tested?

She's from Mcorange.. she's good la.. at least to me.. Thoughi  only went for her revision classes.. She's obsessed with pnemonics.. lol..

All i can say is that her revision classes were really exam oriented.. Quite good for last minute students.. hehe
S17A sounds sooo familiar.. forgot dy.. Gave back all my 3.2 after passing it..    but good luck though.. And don't worry la.. i guess a majority of people here finds it really hard.. so i guess the passing mark will somehow drop to fit the quota?

What u guys opinion?? Find Quite boring in Accounting job.... Debit & Credit, Prepare Budget/ Forecast & then debit & credit & then debit & credit...... I am working now & long hours in a  co.

Paper 3.4 quite easy this time, but I m also not sure can pass or not ??  

I self study, didn't take any class, first time take this paper... but frankly I rely a lot on FTC tips that didn't came out at all... ( I found that All that can pass ACCA study most /everything, but me still rely on the so called TIPS )
