sory out of topic, did anyone here got voltron metallic edition? how the plastic quality,joint, paint, compared to transformers?

i bought the recent plastic reissue edition which is very similar to the metallic edition. imho if you got the budget you should grab the book/diecast edition instead because this new plastic version is quite bad and after few times of transformation you'll start seeing loose joints.

I too picked it up because of its price compared to the diecast version.

Would recommend it only for display purposes... build quality is kinda disappointing...

I just purchased the Toynami Masterpiece Limited Edition (diecast) via eBay U.S. Still managed to grab at reasonable deal @ RM500++.

got info from few frens, saying that this voltron is bad in term of material quality.. confirm not to buy with current price, me interested if anyone want to sell below RM100

i think the quality may be +- darth vader crossover transformers. buy it MISB RM160. But the quality..

Yes, the version showed below. If you fortunate enough you might still can get at the price I bought from eBay U.S. (which is initial retail price). When I made my purchase there were still 4 units left, but all gone within 2 days. In fact this is my second piece, sold my 1st piece and regretted. Luckily still able to find another replacement.


Very minor difference from the ordinary version, in fact not noticible from just a glance. Also it seems either side of the arm joints having problem (was glued and not able to rotate). Watch this review, and you'll know.

Added on September 30, 2009, 11:37 amAlso just grabbed these from eBay Singapore. Trendmasters Reissue, 1998 (plastic). 11 inches tall. Best I like: Each lion comes with their pilots which can be placed inside the cockpit.

i own the plastic one.. not too bad. of coz the metallic one is more worth it.. but for display.. giftset is good enough for me..
