i bought the recent plastic reissue edition which is very similar to the metallic edition. imho if you got the budget you should grab the book/diecast edition instead because this new plastic version is quite bad and after few times of transformation you'll start seeing loose joints.
*
I too picked it up because of its price compared to the diecast version.

Would recommend it only for display purposes... build quality is kinda disappointing...

Binaltechs have not been re-issued since it first launched in 2003 (if I remember correctly)

So chances for Alternity to be re-issued is kinda slim as these licenses are very expensive.

There is no correct sound... just that Hasbro decided to release a diff sound gimmick for TFTM Premium Megs... same goes for TFTM Premium OP biggrin.gif

If I am not mistaken, When the Classics series (Now Universe) first came out, the price was RM99.90 for Voyagers like OP, Megs, Jetfire.

I think there was a price increase to RM109.90 in 2007 when the Voyagers for TFTM was released.

But I do stand corrected  tongue.gif

Thanks,
Ray

Almost correct... Voyagers were originally priced at RM99.90 then it went up just before ROTF somewhere in between Animated and Universe Series.

TF Universe Voyager Nemesis Prime was supposed to be a SDCC exclusive however after the convention there were too many leftover stocks. I think Hasbro Malaysia brought in a fairly large portion however sales was not very good therefore they started offering various discounts to retail outlets (Just like what they are doing now on Universe Vector Prime).

However there were still too much stock left and their last effort was to throw price at TRU @ 49.90 ea and eventually at that price it got cleared biggrin.gif

And now price going up again! hehe the wonders of collectibles.

$79.90 + shipping to malaysia + (klau malang kena tax) = ?????

Bro Laowai is highlighting US retail price so if Hasbro Malaysia brings them in it will follow Msia retail price... Usually RM219.90 * 2 - RM10 = RM429.80

Could be wrong but that's the usual discount Hasbro usually gives for twinpacks
