identical quality? i'm not too sure about that. identical mold yes, but quality, no.
the DVD paint job got smearing all over, especially on those lights above the cab. originally i wanted to get the DVD version too (at retail-because i like the base), but after comparing it with an MP01, i changed my mind. the thing was, my mp01(new) was only rm30 more than the DVD version(at the shop i buying).

up to this day i believe the dvd version shouldn't have rm260 retail price let alone rm400+ goreng prince.

unless of course, this new mp04 also got smearing all over.

No worries from my pics, you should see the difference in quality. I took pictures that flatter the 20th Anniversary Prime. Yes there are paint smears, especially the silver paint from the lights on the trucks roof.

The recently released MP-4 is so much better. I managed to compare my new MP-4 with Kok's first released MP-4 at his shop. We both agree that the quality of the newer one is better.

But for RM270 when I got it, the 20th Anv Prime was a steal. Compared to current prices, when a ROTF leader Prime -without diecast parts, a robot mode that's not as clean as the original OP (too much kibble)- it was a bargain...

this morning finally opened and transformed both alternators rodimus and BT op. it appears rodimus is so much better compared to op in terms of complexity.

haha....alt/BT OP is probably the least successful of them all. rodimus only problem are the kibbles. although the movable visor makes it cooler than mirage .
