I cover the cost with 3 monitors I sold - Asus ROG Swift PG42UQ OLED, Samsung Odyssey Neo G8 and also Samsung Odyssey Neo G9 for purchasing this Samsung Odyssey OLED G9.

Because it is OLED, so the black bar is not distraction at all. Not an issue actually.

I am not BAPE fans but I do like their design and I think this is the 1st time fashion collaborate with IT - Laptop.
Coincidence I need a laptop, survey since months ago. I like this design and the spec also very high, suite me. 😊

Personally I'd have went with the standard look model. These collabo tie ins have always been a con to me.

But since you went for the design, it is justifiable to those who like to be a bit different and stand out. Nice specs is also good to have.

How's the battery life and temp so far? The spec and screen looks gorgeous.
This model is actually same with regular s15 right? From what i am aware, s15 suffers with screen issue.

Similar but not totally same, this one came with i9 but normal version Malaysia Asus don't have i9. This also came with 1x Thunderbolt 4 with display function.

I don't see any screen issue, can you specify more details what is the issue.

Heat is OK, don't feel heat from keyboard when using, battery life not sure as I mostly connect to power.

So far I did not find any issue. The only thing is Dolby Atmos need manually activate, it is not on by default, also I manually tune the equaliser as default sound too trebles and not deep strong.

My manual setting of the sound. After tune, the sound quality is actually very good.

My bad, i think i read it wrongly. Should be the older model of s 15. It's regarding screen flickering issue.

Oh, you won't notice screen flickering but it is not 100% flicker free also, this is OLED characteristics and no single OLED panel is flicker free.

if the person is too sensitive to flickering where might notice it, then the OLED screen is never suitable for them.

Below is the screenshot example of OLED panel where rtings given same reason to all OLED display why OLED screen is never 100% flicker free.
