I read that Brothers are more acceptable to 3rd party refills and less of the firmware lock BS by HP. YMMV as I see few users here.

Personally I'd have went with the standard look model. These collabo tie ins have always been a con to me.

But since you went for the design, it is justifiable to those who like to be a bit different and stand out. Nice specs is also good to have.

Ohh I thought ur a Spidey fan too. Ali does sell wraps for PS5 or even whole patterned cover replacements.

With just one fan I am concern ur GPU is sucking heat radiated from the PSU below it. A two fan cooler could still draw heat away to the 2nd fan and blow out of GPU. Anyhow with such tight casing, do monitor the temps inside.

Thats the good thing about Western world consumer protection, you can often get equivalent or something better. Here in Msia either they reject your claim (reason: user wear & tear) or give you a lower grade replacement if your lucky.

Not exactly something new but on my recent trip to Tokyo I went to a 2nd hand junk paradise store thats literally called Junk Paradise and found an Intel LGA775/115x/1366 tower cooler by Deepcool. Its a beefy 120mm cooler with 4 direct contact heatpipes just was missing its fan but for just 500 Yen it was a real steal as it looks practically brand new


Coincidentally I was also looking for a quieter cooler for the family PC, an oldie but goldie Core i5 760 that was running on a noisy stock cooler all these while.


The tower heatsink was surprisingly light at 457g. I manage to replace the missing fan with an unused Tecware case fan I had and I paid <RM2 for fan brackets.

Altogether a new 120mm tower cooler for RM 15, where to get?

Doing a bit of search found that this is an early gen Gammaxx 400 that came with single colour LED fan, Toms even had a review on it

As counterintuitive it might be, change your signal bandwidth to 2.4G, that will give you better wall penetration signal stability but losing some of the speed.

I see. Could be due to crappy Realtek wifi chipset module. These are usually OEM fave cuz being cheap.
