i can see problem isnt on HTC. but more on windows mobile. HTC done pretty much on their job or i can say even much more of their job. they helped microsoft build their interface. enhance integration between application. but then, sometimes, the core of Win CE is just limiting factor. so at least software wise must give user a mind breeze. i dun mind not user-friendly at all. best is not user-friendly at all. then we can have differentiation betweeen iphone and us.
for hardware wise, blame Qualcomm. haha, for late development.. lol..
HTC mayb can enhance the camera function. add in more manual control over the camera.. but 5mp is more than enough,..
oh yeah, blame microsoft 1 more thing..
the screen color please increase from 65k to 16.7million.. omg, that 65k isnt enough for now...Colour not too important imo, it's the resolution that matters more to me

Bad:
1. I think you are right, the auto connection issue still there... what's worse is this time, it keep on telling me to fill up my Celcom Internet details. This can be fix by running the "Connection Setup" again... but it's a bit annoying...

Good:

1. How come the contact's photo got "degraded" after I synced with my Outlook? Is this normal?
2. How to change the background picture for the rest of the tabs?

1. Not sure if you've tried it, but the NoData thing disables the phone from auto connecting...so that might help
2. You're not the only one with that problem on the Twitter tab. Same thing happen with me - I have to log out and log in again for it to update the status.
3. If the alignment goes off, just tap on Manila fix (this will disable it) and then tap it again to enable. Should work
The photo being degraded...I had that issue before. Fix (for me lah at least) is to tag the photos for the contact using manila's contact browser. For your background picture for all tabs...You gotta download the bg for all tabs cab
Rota has it pre-installed on his ROM btw.

It seems that Manila 2.5.1919 is very promising in the sense that it has a quite noticeable speed boost. itje, rota and agent are cooking out really good ROMs with it, i'll wait and see who's the best and maybe I'll leave my Touch IT 5.6 lol.
Hey don't forgot to update us on which is the best yeah! Especially in terms of speed (most importantly keyboard keeping up with tapping speed - Agent's can't really keep up with mine - lag between taps and what actually appears), stability and battery life

Dude, it's seriously easy man. Like, totally. Initially, I was a bit hesistant to hardspl and flash my X1...but after getting sick and tired of WM crashing on me all the time, I decided to take the leap.
Download all the required stuff. Install, follow the step-by-step instructions (heck, there's even a video guide!) and voila, you're done!
