V shape tread ribs enhance wet performance, but it is Noisy...somemore dry grip nothing to shout about  smile.gif

I would go for Gdyear F1 Assy..smallest size is 17" and above.
*
I'm using Hankook Ventus V8 Evo. So far so good.
Perform well on dry & wet condition.

any1 know where to get 1 piece of alloy ori
sport rim???
*
It would be very hard to get just 1 piece ori alloy rim from tire shop.
Normally people trade-in the whole set. I dont think theywant to
let go just for 1 piece!

You can try get new alloy rim from PESC but I bet it wont be cheap!

yea.. V6.. brows.gif

100% free if your car is under warranty.
If you did not send your car to PESC for service.
It would void your warranty, that you cant claim!!!

It do it mine for free. Just have to wait almost 1 month
to get the part.

Total=820.

QUOTE(heavencloud @ Feb 8 2010, 04:41 PM)
That was some serious mod there  notworthy.gif

But the thing is, did you upgrade the brake system itself like abs or sort? By default m-line braking system only utilize front disc only  hmm.gif
*
I'm more concern about safety. You know what i mean??
Persona B&M-line is not good enough! Still using std abs.

QUOTE(jasondotcom @ Feb 8 2010, 11:46 PM)
Hi dude... urs is B line or M line??? Because i noticed that B line is using 1.3 litre version master brake pump... M line if not mistaken is also using 1.3 litre version master brake pump as well rite?

*
Mine was M-line. Yeah it's true that Persona with non-ABS Which is B & M-line model come with
1.3 Servo from Gen2 1.3. I change ady to Mit. evo 3 Servo.

Adjustable coilover is available for PerSona, cost rm2.xk, worth it for long term run when it is time to replace shock ashober.

Try japanese car with speed limiter 180kmh  tongue.gif can overtake them..kaka..j/k
*
Izit GAB brand? Why it is so expensive???

Currently I'm using 17" Lenso rim with Hankook v8 tires. Damn it's bit heavy but looks nice! biggrin.gif

mine is b-line... felt very spongy.. so decide to change it... even its still new... izit recommended?
*
The most i hate about persona is the spongy brake.
I spent almost 2k just to improve the brake system.

I've started with chg front brake pad to Bendix General CT.
It bites really well but still not satisfied!
Next I've changed the Steel Braided Brake Hose, Mitsu Evo3 Brake Servo, Slotted Disc Rotor, etc...
The full satisfaction was only after I've changed from drum to disc!
I'm really satisfied. The only thins that I regret is I should change it from earlier
rather then doing those things.
For me the ultimate answer to solve spongy brake is chg ur drum to disc, that's all.

Don't waste money try to chg brake pad from one brand to another!
You would end up like me.

but then will it void the warranty? anything can be done jz concern bout the warranty...  unsure.gif
by the way.. im thinking to add a coil cushion to my car to protect the spring... coz my brother is so overload... 180kg++  rclxub.gif
last time he broke my iswara absorber twice...  doh.gif
Any mod to the car will void the warranty!!! Even if u change the rim, it will void the warranty
of brake & absorber.

Pls share here your experience after using the Coil Spring Cushion.

I've done my 50k service at 3S Pelangi Damansara SC.
It was the first time I went there. B4 only sent to service dealer.

Rep. e.oil, oil sump nut, add coolant. Total was RM206, labour=90.

Sent 09:05AM, everything done at 10:15AM. Super fast job.
Will sent again next time.
