Many music school actually offer lessons for adult piano also.. and you can choose between learning just for leisure or really want to go for exam..

and it is never too late to start the piano as long as you hav interest.. it is all about passion..

just go ahead and persue you interest..

if really can't afford a piano, a keyboard will do for beginner, though not really recommended for pianist who play for some time already. Anyway, if piano is really out of your budget, go get a keyboard first. At least you have something to practice at home as learning an instrument without practicing at home is really troublesome.
