so far , things that i have finished ...

-cut the side panel for acylric.. measurement roughly around 2mmx420mmx580mm [done]
-fix all my WC gear inside the case (pump,nb-max and res) [done]
-ordered PSU sleeving gear and cable management stuffs [working on it]
-re-apply the proper way of TIM (OCZ Freeze) on my gtz, it spreads pretty evenly (checked ) and no dark spots alright.. [done]
-ordered a 120mm saw hole [done]
-ordered 5x 120mm fan grills [done]

things i still havent done:
-cut the other side of the panel (just for fun )
-re-lap my processor (if i have time)
-havent ordered any plexi glass/acylric yet [DONE]
-need a longer screw (M3) if i want to mount a fan on my side panel [ordered]
-get a diamond disc cutter [no $$ for it sleep.gif to expensive]
-get some crazy delta fans for fun lol.. [DONE, GOT 3x ULTRA KAZE]

well i still need some opinions on this:
-cutting a few holes on my mobo tray for E-ATX mobo psu cable + SATA cables [DONE]
-cutting the aluminium mesh on top of the case.. replace it with acylric and 120mm blowholes for fans (optional) [DONE]
-change from UV white tubings to normal transparent tubings as i dont have any uv cathodes.. only light blue ones or just get UV cathodes [DONE]

-pics will be uploaded soon
-did all of these with a drill and a dremel biggrin.gif

here, my current side panel biggrin.gif

shouldn't u spread the TIM instead of putting a strip there ? but i tried spreading mine and it's just impossible coz its sticking to the spreader.
sleep.gif so i've wasted a lot. cry.gif coolermaster thermal fusion somemore ..

lol no need to spread also can the weight of the cooler would spread it automatically haha i also thought need to spread end up using 1 whole tube of thermal compound ... like what u said haha

theres a blob and the strip way =D use google

and for ts i think the tim is enough lol

lol thats why i just put 1 thin line since the i7 die core is slightly longer than the normal core 2 duo's, spreading with hand/card seems to be impossible coz it end up sticking to the card/finger..let the weight of the heatsink spread on it, bolt thru kit seems the best for this job...

btw i just cut a square hole for my mobo tray.. now i can slot in the mobo-ATX psu and graphics card psu neater biggrin.gif..

next job to do, cut the aluminium mesh on top of the panel and replace it with acrylic (will be using scotch's double sided tape for sticking it... and also re-paint the case , its pilling off sleep.gif (fuk this is a very tiring job and $$ money)

They are just replacement parts for cosmetic looks smile.gif It doesn't give you any performance difference. Best of all, it's not cheap which is why I didn't even get it for my setup laugh.gif

doh.gif lol ok.. btw im in the process of making the edges of my side panel as smooth as possible (no curvy/wavy cuts).. using a file to do this (very tiring)..

and pics of my res and rad added biggrin.gif, the res gives some waterfalling effect (the sound) thanks to clawhammer hehe ^^

the card runs incredibly cool and much more silent compared to my 4870x2 and performs equivalently or +/- against it..
and no stuters/smooth gameplay with the card.. max temps of the card was 60C @ 23C ambient..

don't u have the nb/sb wb used for your mobo right now already? seems like you does.. If you're really gonna oc the nb power and put a lot of pressure into the PWM, the answer is yes. go for it!~ biggrin.gif

what's the difference between both cards? it's a same brand, powercolor. so how's the performance and the data sheet? wub.gif

didn't u sell your 4870x2 already? hmm.gif

the cuts i've made weren't straight at all, (did that like 3 months ago)
so something poped up in my head and i decided to do this wavy design instead

Reiben i think the wavy line idea is a good one.

People wouldn't realize it was a mistake. Also if you put a radiator grill, people don't see it anyway.

most of the lian-li casing is not premade to go with radiator inside.. that's why i always avoid 'em. You need to mod and the problem is when u mod it, the resale value will probably drop once you put on sale. Anyway CM ATCS 840 is better since they have pre-mount top triple fan. So you can add triple radiator there, but there's cons about it... only 1 feser 360 radiator will fit.. you need to put another 1 360 radiator outside.. anyway, TJ-07 is still the best casing for WC purpose.. lol...

just tell your dad, that moderno is cheaper than LYP ler... maybe can changes his mind about that... hahahahha laugh.gif

i think can, either you put the 240 rad with some bracket behind the bay or change to mini-ATX mobo of which you stacked it up together with 360. So can use 2 x 360 radiator. biggrin.gif

most of the lian-li casing is not premade to go with radiator inside.. that's why i always avoid 'em. You need to mod and the problem is when u mod it, the resale value will probably drop once you put on sale. Anyway CM ATCS 840 is better since they have pre-mount top triple fan. So you can add triple radiator there, but there's cons about it... only 1 feser 360 radiator will fit.. you need to put another 1 360 radiator outside.. anyway, TJ-07 is still the best casing for WC purpose.. lol...

just tell your dad, that moderno is cheaper than LYP ler... maybe can changes his mind about that... hahahahha  laugh.gif

are you sure moderno is cheaper than LYP?

lian li actually has lots of extra parts for most of their case that allows u to fit 2-3 fans on top which means radiators as well, but i dont think they carry them here......

@kInOzAwA: read my project. Lian Li cases do have top panel replacements that have the radiator vents with mesh made, however i could not find one with 3 x 120mm vents released yet for my case model. As such ModernoPC did the measurements for me and i am going to get it laser cut tomorrow.

I don't see any reason for staying away from Lian Li cases :]

might cause alignment problem, powder coat do makes the surface of the parts thicker a bit...

so if ur components need precision gap etc, there goes ur part... lolz....

yeah i saw the review when using ultra kaze on TFC, very nice result.. hahahaha anyway my yate loon fans is just sit nice for thermochill / swiftech mcr320 rad only... laugh.gif

i don't think i can fit the triebwerks fans inside the case since the radiator alone + yate loon almost over a mobo a bit.. 1" less than ram slot.. hahahahhaha luckily can still open/close ram slot but not full open lerrrr biggrin.gif

maybe i'll get the triebwerks works for my 240 later... right now using the Deltas for them... laugh.gif

hahahhahaa with 2470RPM Speed and 86.50 CFM is just enough to cool down the rad... yours is too powerful on 4k rpm speed and 150.33 CFM air flow surely its noisy enough, it's suitable as exhaust fan indeed .... laugh.gif

lol.. its still amateur imo but non the less.. thnx smile.gif

anyway i just finished everything biggrin.gif.. and somehow.. i think my pump is dead.. it wont start.. played with the inlet.. it just wont suck water/push it.. it was working fine yesterday when i was leak testing.. all my other 12v stuffs worked fine (CCFL,fans, fan controller)

result was, IT WAS LEAKING BADLY.. pool of water everywhere inside the casing lol

so i guess i have to wait another month to finish everything sad.gif , super broke now and i need more murdermod sleeves/heatshrink

1 of the silverstone fans i have are dead too, so i have to use the CM R4's instead, the fans actually ran much more louder than my kazes at 1800RPM.. pressure wise.. acceptable since the 240 rad im using is a low density fin rad

nvm la.. the difference in size i research between the TJ09 and TJ07... 4cm longer, 6cm higher.. 1cm wider sleep.gif:.. with that price.. i'd think i'll get a lian li instead.. 10cm
taller, 10 cm deeper..

tapi RM580.. doh.gif.. haih..

hahaha yeahhhh the mounting mods case rocks and can put a lot of goods!!! The behemoth stands 24 inches tall and is 18 inches deep and wide. The standard configuration allows for one motherboard tray in a vertical position on the left side of the case. On the lower front 6 x 120mm intake fans are positioned for two world renowned Thermochill PA 120.3 radiators. On the back wall another PA 120.3 radiator can be mounted on the right side chamber, while a lone 120mm exhaust above the MB tray has enough space to mount any single 120mm radiator including the Thermochill PA 160. Also on the back wall are 2 Power Supply ports - one on the lower right and one way up in the right corner above the MB tray and 120mm exhaust port. The front and back panels can rotate 180 degrees for a different configuration. Or easily change your configuration by purchasing individual panels.

which case are you refer? TJ-07 or mountain mods? TJ-07 new price is still expensive RM11XX - 12XX, but for the mountain mods it's is more expensive than TJ07.. around RM15XX - 16XX or maybe more if including the custom tax + postage.. laugh.gif

and it can fit like 3x 360 rad easily.. even the TJ07 would require a lot of modding on the bottom and on top biggrin.gif

too long way for the water to travel if u add too many radiators, the heat will not be cleared from the radiators that way its just fine the way it is.

the shorter the loop the better.

3x 655 will eat more space... the only case looks good with these is a mounting mods casing, even tj07 doesn't looks good with so many 655 pump on it.. hahahahah... 355 is smaller and easily to mount around, so this is the only option for your current casing biggrin.gif

ur loop will work better if u separate the cpu cooling and gpu cooling and add in another pump.

it will yield better performance. dual loop always better than single loop.

the temp difference when adding extra radiator will be minimal when ur current radiator able to handle ur hardware heat load. Additional radiator wont help much when u already reach the point where the delta temp of ur water is low.

remember, water cooling wont get ur temp lower when the water inside the loop already reaching near or equal to ambient. You will see ur core temp etc still not touching ambient as u must take heat resistance etc from the cpu ihs to thermal paste to water block.

my advice is if u wan go extreme and multiple radiators setup, try built multiple loops each cooling their own components rather than cool everything in a single loop.

anyway nice setup you got there. add in another pump and built another loop bro, maybe 360 cool only cpu and 240 cool the gpu.

if u enable HT, for 3d mark Vantage case, u get 30% more CPU score... but the reduce in GPU performance is less than 3% I guess... so i think ur overall score will still higher.

no point getting another 5870 if you only use 22" LCD monitor on it... hence you're not fully utilized by using it... grab a largest, widest LCD monitor with HD5870 in pair with it biggrin.gif

i think 1 per 1 mod top is better, can do 2 loops which is better for different set. dual mod top design looks like eat lots of space smile.gif

If you were to spend on another pump, it's better to run dual loop smile.gif You can then manage the loops better and get good temps.
