55200 can use for portrait also.. biggrin.gif
55200 at 55mm is f4 but kitlens at 55mm is f5.6..

anyone tried mounting the new 18-55mm DT SAM on A300?
today i tried and its tight and hard to mount on my A300, but the MFD is nice.. thumbup.gif

get a Raynox DCR-250, and mount it in front of your lens and its done!
i use Raynox + SAL55200
