The quoted speed on the CF is normally the read speed (which is always faster than writing speeds). I don't recommend Kingston as they are usually slow compare to other brands on the same speed rating.

Sandisk range are much faster read and write.

The 50mm f1.8 have a larger aperture compared to the kitlens. Smaller f stop value gives shallow Depth-Of-Field, thus better looking bokeh

I think SAL50F18 (50mm f1.8 ) is the most affordable around ;-)

eV = 0 is correct exposure based on the camera's brain.
A human brain may intepret eV differently.
