after months of research and comparison and opinions, i've finally settled myself down to get a sony alpha dslr...but now the problem is, i dunno what to choose...my budget has limited me 2 only a230 and a200...but from what i read a230 is a disappointment as for a upgraded version of a200 it really doesnt do any better than its predecessor a200, but also appeared to be less user friendly and has worse handling...so guys, need some advice on shud i get a230...and if a200 is still selling anywhere?

Between the two (Tamron & Sony), definitely it's the Sony since Sony uses Tamron Technology and put some of their own magic into it.

I think the best would the the Sigma (not tested and don't think anyone here owns it). I read it at DPReview (http://www.dpreview.com/news/0906/09061804sigma.asp), it has HSM and incorporates a Hybrid OS (Optical Stabilizer).
