Have you spent some time going through all the various topics in this forum? These topics have been discussed to death already....

Which LCD is better = Which car is better?

So what kind of car do you drive and why?

give problems or not is very subjective, not all LCD are poorly made, if you are unlucky then you will get some unit that will failed after 1 year, just like computer

WDTV is something like RMVB player, know that? but WDTV are more expensive and can play more video format, like .mkv, .avi .rm and so much more, and of course include the DTS decoding.

Yeah, everybody pls just shut up if you cannot answer his question directly.
But then, technically we don't open out mouths when we reply... hmmm... quite a dilemma.

WDTV?....well, nowadays, more and more ppl. are into High Definition Media Players.
Its the trend now for peasants that can't afford a Bluray system.
Try google for WDTV. Its a whole new world bro. What makes the Samsung so sweet is it oledi has a media player built in.
So you can download stuff into your Thumbdrive or external hardiskdrive and plug/plug from the TV.
It even offers an optional wireless streaming also.

QFT means ("Quoted For Truth") someone agrees with you...

ya what i like about the samsung b650 is this media player thingie, other features like internet lar blablabla ia white elephant at the moment

the bad thing is the cost is 500 more than sharp a77 so with the money probably i can buy a good wdtv already (or 2 tongue.gif )

Well, bro, you put it in your list...so my choice will be the Samsung.
Regarding the internet features....they are getting to it....but then again...the rest of the LCD list you provided dun offer anything close to it.

Getting a separate system like WDTV has its advantages, but take note, WDTV is a budget player, unless you are comparing to a DVICO brand than I think a built in media player in the TV is as simple as it gets.

Its very interesting as its abt the Samsung b650.

I wont pick any of the above.
Actually, my suggestion for big screen is plasma. But then again where are you going to place the 42"?
Like me, due to space constraint, my only choice is a LCD - samsung 32" (b650).
Another consideration as to what you use it most often for. Correct me if I'm wrong, most would agree Asstro and movies is Plasma, for games and cartoon pick LCD.
So please give the above suggestion some consideration.

BTW
The internet may not be there, but b650 do help me stream media from my desktop PC a few rooms away. I like the minimalist of b650. There is only one cable attached, its power cord, as I don't watch asstro and b650 have a built in media player thus, just one remote control for TV and media player. One disadvantage is no optical audio out & don't expect much from the TV's sound system.

If you worry about warranty, just pay 400++ to Harvey Norman for 5 yrs warranty. Being international company they have been along time.
