Actually the center is just as important as the fronts. Some might say center is even more important (especially for movies).

Yup almost all of the dialogue comes from the center channel.

Generally the recommendation for front speakers is the tweeter is roughly at ear level (so around 3 - 3.5 feet). I think 5 - 6 feet will be too high.

Anyway, the NS-8390 is a floor standing speaker. Will be really odd for you to put it up on a TV cabinet.

Luckily you're still in design stage smile.gif

So now no need to make the TV cabinet so big (save cost) so you have some empty floor space to put the NS-8390.
