mr_habuk and yrh0413, it may be expensive but it may save your lens if you knock it.

QUOTE(mr_habuk @ Nov 15 2009, 11:30 PM) hmm..you got point there... If it's titanium it's not as flexible as plastic (I think).but just wanna make thing clear here.. how come the lens die..? is it b'coz the drop or b'coz it hits the hood.? However, if it's plastic, it's more flexible. Therefore, upon impact. The lens hood made of plastic is able to diffuse the energy from the impact reducing the chances of the energy being transferred to the lens. When there's no energy transferred to the lens, it shouldn't have any problems. This is just my theory. |

Mind sharing so we can make side money together-gether? d_lai_309, how much did you pay for your LP-E5? I paid RM50 for my LP-E5 but it's only 800 MaH, yours is 1080 MaH. Btw, why you not using Hoya UV Filters on your new baby (24-70 F2.8L)? |

kimurastanley, how much did you pay for that?
Btw, how come you need such a fast card. I think a Class 6 would be sufficient even if you record/burst your frames... |

QUOTE(faiz92 @ Nov 21 2009, 01:25 AM) U should try transfer using your D90 body to computer. DAMN FAST I thought how fast the DATA is written to your computer depends on the built-in reader of your body? 50 pictures below 10 sec! < sometimes la. If the memory card inserted in your body's built-in reader is slow, there'll be a bottleneck... |

That's cause the picture of 5 MPixels has a much smaller file size than a picture of 10 MPixels, hence it writes much faster to the card allowing more pics to be written to the card before it's buffer is full?
