I'm ansmann 2850mAh user, i have to admit that although the power is strong and long lasting, but the recycle time is a bit slow >.< Burst mode in D90, in 4 shots only the 2 shots in front are well exposed, the latter 2 shots are under becuz not yet recycled. Then the fifth is well exposed (recycled)...

Not yet try eneloop, dunno how it goes.

Thinking to get Eneloop too. Hmm.

IMO it's a great deal. Buy 8 pieces and u'll have a backup set =D

Gotta blame you la, last time kept promoting Ansmann and didn't tell me the recycle time is slow.

You should try Eneloop, it really makes a difference.

Eh bro, last time was using D40, 2.5fps burst *** meh == single shot also faster than burst mode.
Now tried burst mode only know mah... easy lah, get 8x eneloop, get MAHA 8 batteries charger, then the ansmann use as 2nd backup =D

btw, not sure how much eneloop excel compare to energizer
i heard many ppl cursing energizer for its stupid recharge rate(especially Ianho )
but i feel my 2500mah energizer works well for me
maybe is D5000 low fps? 4fps burst shoot still can keep up
recharge speed after full power flash is fast too
anybd care to pinjam me eneloop for testing?

But my Energizer 2500mah recycle is fast enough for my SB-600 pairing with D300s burst mode(CH)

maybe others were using lower Mah energizers?

i am running 10x Eneloop for my 580EXII+CP-E3 on 1D MkII..

From my experience, when I use my kit lens my SB900 recharges slower because I'm basically using the flash as main light source. However using faster lens like 50mm prime or my 70-200, my SB900 actually recharges very fast because the flash is merely filling instead of as a main light source.

So, it depends on your distance and also how you use it.

i'm going to buy 1000D this weekend. i already make few survey. one shop offer me rm1780 including bag,4gb,hoya uv. another one rm1680,without freebies..

last time our superhero mod, ianho bought his 450D for only 2.1k lor..

pointless to buy 1000. you might as well save up another week/month get 450d/500d/550d. way better cameras.

skill is more important than gadget lor. no point if i use 5d markII if i cannot shot nice pic lor.. so, better i start with canon 1000d first.. support me please. hehe.. feel down di

its also non-sense after learning the skills from point A,then at the middle point felt that the 1000d is not enough for your growing skills,then pour into more money for a another body upgrade..
