Paid USD41.20 for the shipment charge, for the following items:
1x Kirk L-plate for 1D Mark III
1x Kirk body plate for 5D Mark II with BG-E6 (vk's item)
1x Wimberley P20 lens plate (vk's item)
1x Cokin 77mm adapter ring
1x Cokin wide-angle P-filter holder

All light stuff, but B&H Photo pack them into a decent box with decent bubble-wraps. Total damage USD360 including shipping charge. Thanks to Singapore government, I was charged an additional 7% GST lol.

myjunk, it is best to combine multiple items and ship them in one go. Definitely not worth it to pay USD40 for 8 pieces of batteries! laugh.gif there was a delay for a week coz vk's 5d2 plate was on back-order... but then it only took 3 days from the moment B&H updated the shipping status from "ready to ship" to the UPS guy standing in front of my doorstep. I have to admit, their service is really good smile.gif Next time I shall even consider getting lenses from B&H.

Hi there,

I've been searching high and low for the material for this DIY bounce card, what is this material called? And where did you bought it and how much did it cost you?

Thanks a lot!

70-300 or 70-400 f2.8 cannot fit.

So far Sigma 18-200mm lens can fit in. No problem. Have not seen a portable dry box for 300 or 400mm f2.8 yet and I don't have 300 or 400mm f2.8 yet. tongue.gif

This case is Anti-Shake, Anti-Bump, Anti-Moisture, Anti-Dust and Water-Proof. Good for travelling.
Lens case is good but not Water-Proof or is it?

so if put on APS-C like 450d then the focal length need to multiply the crop factor (say, 1.5) = (24-70)x1.5 = 36-105?

Yes. It's based on 35mm film standard. Any number smaller than 35mm is considered wide. So a 28mm is wide, 24 is very wide n 17 is ultra wide. FF is same as 35mm film.

That's y the 24-70 is no longer Considered wide at 24mm on crop body coz 24x1.6=38.4mm equivalent.
