I think the price for POSLAJU is more cheaper than others...

But, sometime they will send ur item to wrong location(State)... So, make it delay a bit...

I've sent maybe over 500 packages within the last one year and none were lost. 2-3 of lost for a few days but manage to trace them again hehe...

For me a complaint on them is the way they handle your packages. They get thrown around alot but if you pack them properly that shouldn't be a problem nod.gif

For starter, I suggest you start with POSLAJU, which do not need an account for their service.
You could save RM300~RM500 account deposit from this.

Later, when you manage to earn a stable income. Get a ROB (Business name registration), which apparently become your-prefered-name Enterprise. (You can do this online, no need to attend SSM for long queue)
Then, you may choose any courier service provider in the market, with deposit of cause.

For my case, SURE REACH offers me the lowest rate for parcel delivery, especially to East Malaysia regions.

That's my point of view.

Good luck in your business! thumbup.gif

That's the problem I find with pos laju. Several times already they just drop a note on my door step even though I'm in the house watching tv and waiting for them.

GDex will normally call earlier to notify they're coming to deliver the item, and will call again at when reach my door step since I don't have a door bell.

Yup, that's what pissed me off, what I did is writing a small card outside the gate telling them you can't hear them from inside the house if they shout so ask them to call ur no instead, they will call me every time now smile.gif

I've been using Kangaroo courier service to send parcels within Peninsular Malaysia. Thank Godness that it's a so far so good experience. And they're one of the cheapest courier service I found.

i think Poslaju is the cheapest so far. I've been using that for the past 1 year ++ , none of them lost. but sometimes it can be late..up to 7 days.

for items 2-3kg i normally use Citylink. they have flat rate of RM15.00 for that. (only for WM).

both have tracking number, so you can give that to your customers for tracking purposes.

Poslaju= 1. Needs perfect detail i.e. address, phone number & there's human on the shipping address. Then, there's no problem for the next-day delivery.
2. No next-day delivery for inter-town delivery if u send the parcel after Friday afternoon. But I'm not sure about inter-city. Usually those item will only arrive on Monday.
3. Online Tracking.

Skynet= 1. The guy works in my area is friendly. Greet me with a smile. Sometimes takes an extra mile just to make sure I get my goods.
2. The counter & phone service is quite good.
3. Online Tracking. thumbup.gif

Gdex= Seldom. But no problem as far as I have.

Kanggaroo= 1. Maybe too much hopping in the outback until they get lost. They get a bit slow in the service. Sometimes tooooo slow.
2. Online Tracking (That's how I know there are very slow).

Matang= 1. Friendly service, not professional service. Sometimes the branch manager had to send the item after delayed for quite sometimes (but not as long as kanggaroo). That is twice for me. Where are the workers? I don't know.
2. No online tracking

My ranking:
1) Poslaju - Fast & highly traceable, CS is contactable till 9.30pm!
2) Kangaroo - Super Fast but online tracking is bad
3) SkyNet - Fast but not that cheap
4) GDex - blacklisted due to lost iPhone

I would say pos laju is still easiest and the cheapest of them all. You can easily drop it at any pos office. That's all.

Well me...poslaju is far more reliable and faster than skynet...if your office/place near skynet I guess they'd be fast but since poslaju has more coverage it's much convenient and more reliable for me. Skynet for me takes 3-5 days to reach my home and I guess Skynet Kajang is just awful for me because they make a habit of leaving my parcels with my neighbours and didn't bother to contact me when ever they want to deliver my stuff a few times and if I'm not at home they did not leave a delivery pick up slip shakehead.gif

PosLaju just cheap on parcel below 1KG (RM5.6), plus the packing fees, petrol etc I don't think it's worth.

I use Kangaroo RM10 up to 5KG, just a call they come to my place collect. Everyday pick up on 5~6pm, the system will update on 9~10pm, it's not too slow also. Sometime I give customer CN on afternoon they check immediatly but not found on system, and they said it's slow? Funny le..

Btw.. for west malaysia PosLaju 5KG is RM26, plus the 25%

5KG rate : Kangaroo RM10 vs PosLaju RM32.50
Who is cheap?

Hi, starting own business is easy but to have consistent revenue trading with established courier company will be difficult and as a start up will take time. To use more reliable partner, use international brand name, better coverage and insurance is covered.

Hope this helps...

usually poslaju are efficient,

i know there's a lack of responsibility from their side handling items,

but i think you better lodge a report..

or they intentionally hide the item, maybe because i make an enquiry to their main office then only they return it back,if not,if everyone keep quiet, can safely keep it then..or it just me being paranoid n prejudice to them.

I always use pos laju and so far no problems. I only hate the customer service online that take so long to reply.. after I received the item they only reply and said "This tracking number does not exist" -.-

For skynet .. always delay my items but never lost.

Nationwide tried once... got delayed but once I emailed to ask they reply my email immediately and call me immediately. Thats a nice service.

I normally use poslaju. Touchwood so far so good.

But Skynet give me very bad experience.

Got 2 no so good incidents happen to me past couple of month.

First, Lied to me said they called me but cannot get me. But in actually fact no driver to deliver to me. I had to call them, check status and personally go collect. mad.gif mad.gif

2nd is right now. The form clearly stated Skynet Code is AKH (which is Bukit Beruang, Melaka) But I checked their online tracking. To my horror, my item now at Alor Star!! (AOR) rclxub.gif rclxub.gif sweat.gif sweat.gif

Call them but too bad after office hours. Apparently they work till 6pm. LAME mad.gif

My advise is avoid Skynet at all cost.
