When will a new replacement model comes? smile.gif
*
Most people speculate if there's a any successor of LX3, it will most probably announce at the Photokina Show at Germany around September.

But if u see some post b4 tis, there's an interview with Panasonic, it said tat LX3 will hav continues support on newer firmwares, and he said LX4 wont be coming anytime soon. smile.gif

*lol... LX3 is still a very nice semi-pro out there. smile.gif

anyone knows how to unscrew the lens ring..i want to mount an adapter to it but it kinda hard to unscrew it...it's too tight... rclxub.gif  rclxub.gif

Off the camera, the lens facing u.
the ring is actually the extended part when u close the lens.
Hold it, and then open it Anti-Clockwise.
Turn it slightly harder, first time is usually "tighter" one. brows.gif
and dun scare, the camera build is quite solid. smile.gif

awww darn it, thanks,

oh yeah guys, i tried taking pictures of a fountain in 4-5pm sun light, im unable to get blurry water effects with slow shutter , even larges appeture and lowest iso 80, pictures will be over exposed to total white, even i set lowest -ev too, do i need a ND filter for this shots??? thx
*
hem... i never know there's a limit. But the reason for tis limit is mostly:
Long expose of CCD will create too much heat tat will destroy it. tats why the limit is there to cool down the CCD.

how is the camera when shooting low light situations/night?
*
Not too dark indoor lighting are fine. But an addon of external flash is recommended.

Night Scene basiclly u need a tripod and Shutter Speed control. smile.gif

the exact-fit leather case has draw back too. The case actually locks itself onto ur tripod mount. and u need to take it out every time when u wanna charge ur battery and take out ur SD cards. and plug in the USB cable too. smile.gif

if someone buy rm399 case, it's obviously not about protection already. wanna look good! biggrin.gif

tat case do looks good on LX3 drool.gif

but it also makes the battery SD card compartment hard to reach, which is a big drawback for some. sweat.gif

I'm a bit worried if something happens to my LX3 like @alvin_yong's case sad.gif

don't scare lar. Any Panasonic Camera wit the "Panasonic Malaysia sticker" should be fine for local Warrenty claim. smile.gif

DKXINJ: u can't. But u can attach some numbers of conversion lens. and from the web, u can actually attach LX3 to telescope, shot photo through a spotting scope.

the boy statue, angle not interesting. i think it would look nice if u shoot lower and from the front.

dog photo, WB is off. it'd be nice to be able to see the body

the rest is okay i guess. juz shoot as much as you can. etc the flag picture not interesting, maybe u can try other angles or maybe shoot during  sunset etc smile.gif also play around with dynamic settings. juz dun use on humans hehe will make the skin red
yea we need internet explorer to do that sad.gif

I use Opera browser so sign up, no problem at all.

QUOTE(ADVedder @ Apr 28 2010, 08:21 PM)
