its true that xbox 360 games are more easy to develop

It's all about business.

PlayStation 3 may hold a better hardware than its rival 360, but in terms of ease-of-development wise, 360 tends to be the ideal platform.

Distributors just can't afford to have their developers to spend a great amount of extensive time, making the PlayStation 3 version of a game to look as good as 360's. They'll simply generalize the development with one-single engine; neglecting the platform that is somewhat not-development-friendly.

You guys may have already known this but, oh well, that's just me, wasting time at the office~

the article from hiphopgamershow.com is sensationalized to attract eyeballs. not to mention that its also very poorly written. the writer clearly took the original post by david jefferies out of context, sinisterly inferring that since microsoft is 'compromising' on its graphic standards, it will be holding back the ps3.

if you guys actually take the time to read the original blog post here, you will realise that david jefferies was talking about the issue of image resolution vs. image quality, triggered by Microsoft to relaxed their rule that all games must be of 1280x720 resolution.

i wont go into details but you guys should read his post in its entirety. at no point did he mentioned anything about anything like the hiphopgamershow.com article suggested.

you guys should really take everything you read on the internet with a pinch of salt, especially from a site called hiphopgamershow.com. lol.

Si peh sian la. Always there theory or idea to fuel the comparison argument. Which 1 powerful, cheaper, better looking, etc........... All this argument benefit absolutely nothing to player of both console. Here an idea, want ur console to be the sole winner? Totally ban any product by opposing company, boycott WINDOWS, Sony LCD TV, etc..........

Heh. This writer of this article is just trying to make war of consoles between fans of both consoles . Dun care if PS3 is not great. I still love my PS3..

See what ever DVD can fit in...why PS3 should use Blueray? And we pay more? Unless PS is smart enough to add in extra features...like soundtracks, making of the game, additional art work or anything extra...then I think people will go for PS3...of course there are games like uncharted 2 exclusive for ps3...but only 1 or 2 exclusive is not enough.

those are 3rd party games u mean?

for 1st party games, they are indeed utilizing the storage advantage in bluray disc,

for 3rd party developers, they have to ensure the contents are the same for all platforms, otherwise ppl will say they are biased towards one platform only, plus there is also no reason for them to pour in extra contents for PS3 version, unless Sony paid them to do so.

pricing wise, Xbox 360 and PS3 multiplatform games are almost the same, of course if say pirated game then nothing to say lah

also take note that multiplayer on xbox needs $$, PSN is FOC.
