1. Did you run the wizard to obtain Hotmail settings?
2. It runs TouchFlo by default, thats why nothing happens

well you can customize TouchFlo but it's quite risky. Or you could disable it then ...

try applying all 4 updates on HTC website for Touch 2 and see if it works

data connection? hell yeah ...always drains battery (no matter what device, still the same..) never oced my touch 2. Prefer it at stock. does the ring appear without the screen protector on?

since it's there even without the SP,go back to the service center again. It's an annoying issue.. Btw try Pdair then ;D

it depends on the radio your Touch 2 is running. depending on usage, mine last about 1 day++

@Secret Hunter, the roms made by rakesh_4utoo are usually not bad..But i dont quite like it due to it does not include chinese support. Why dont just do a hardreset.
@raydians, might wanna check the setting. it might be set to disconnect if not connected to any access point
