I just follow the SHAZ tutorial, and success..
but, unfortunately my google maps dissapear. But when i want to install it again from google, it said that i already install the google maps.. but i don't have any..

how is it??

Yes of course, in wireless network setting, there is selection for automatically use mobile data network when wireless network cannot be found. You can turn it off. So you can set manually to use your mobile data network whenever you want.

If I subscribe to the Maxis 3G, do I still get that speed if I toggle to 2G network only?
Of course not. If you want to use 3G network, uncheck that 2G network Only, but it will consumed much your battery.

lol just found out that for Maxis, you can use 500mb for RM8 a day, whereas you need to pay RM58 for the same thing for a month. Wth?
There are still many people just want to use data daily, maybe a day per week. So, Maxis, Celcom (RM7/day, RM20/week, or subscribe for RM65/month), or DIGI (RM5/day, RM30/Month for DIGI Campus Prepaid Only, or subscribe RM60/month) provide that flexibility based on people needs.
