Thank you, board mods/staff for considering legalizing discussion of Nokia hacking that started at the above thread.

The thread for the announcement of allowing symbian hacking is as below:

However, I would like to request for the mods to sticky the 2nd thread above(announcement) at the Symbian section as i believe :

-that it is an important announcement and should be made as visible as possible

-if left unsticky, the thread would be dropped to lower pages

Im guessing that he didn't PM a Moderator because he knows that the Mod will not reply. I have PM'ed several Mods/Staff and Admins and most of them do not reply. So far I have only got one reply by a Mod out of my other 4.

I dont see a reason to sticky the thread.

When you dont say no, means it is a yes.

Hacking symbian phone is not something important and glorious, there is no such need to sticky the thread.

and they said YES now, so why do we need to pin it up to announce "oh hey forumer, please discuss hacking freely as u wish".

Although hacking is legal to be discussed, however 90% of the time its related to illegal stuff. Its NOT that important to be considered as Sticky.

Sticky thread usually brings awareness or for important news/info that brings benefits so everyone can be aware of. They also serve as a discussion thread for commonly discussion issue.

Announcing "Hacking is allowed" is not something very important. The number of community that actually hacks their phone is not large so there is no need to sticky it.

Well its up to the mod to decide.
