Hehe, I has yet to buy, that's why asking Qs first... So far what I like... can off the camera sound, install PJP 8 makes the memory card into cache when web browsing so it won't run out of memory.

But I am undecided since N8 also coming 

I am looking at 8Gb version, fits my budget, if the N8 is overpriced I might buy X6 instead. Off the camera sound is a must for me, especially indoor when the sound so loud

Don't worry, I only keep MP3's and photos inside my phone, 8GB I think enough I also believe the N8 will cost very much when launching time, just like previous Nokia phones.

I'm going to lowyat tomrrow & planning to buy Nokia X6 8Gb ORI set, not AP set. Can u guys recomend me which shop to go to?
Any forumers here that have shop at lowyat & highly recomended? Hope to avoid grey shops that wil exchange inside stuff/accesories or cheat on buyers.

Tomorrow I will try to scout for best price. As now via forum searching, cheapest I found is around RM 899. 2 person selling as what I found, 1 is located at Kepong which is quite far for me, another is at Penang (even further). Hah.
So, I'm trying at lowyat plaza tomorrow. Hope to get abit cheaper & better price

I am planning to get my first ever touch screen smartphone  (budget <rm1k), after finding some info online, I decided that my choice would be Nokia X6 8Gb.

Can anyone give me some tips/guidelines on buying it? For e.g., what are the things which I should take note of, what should I ask to the seller etc.

Also, a few other questions:

1) Does it support dictionary function?
2) Can it multitask? Like open msn, facebook and gmail at the same time?
3) How good is the OVI maps function, in terms of reliability (up-to-date, voice command)? Can I request to install Garmin in it? Is it free? Or, OVI maps are good enough?
4) What are the top advantages/weaknesses of the phone from your own experience?

Sorry if the questions are kind of vague, but I am a total noob in techie stuffs like this.

4) For the low ram n low cpu speed, does it mean the phone will hv higher possibilities to hang most of the time? So, usually do you only open one application at a time?
Oh, I read some of the threads related to Garmin, and it seems that it is a common problem? But, it won't have too much effect on the x6, will it?

jus bought my x6 16gb last 3 days ,but i cant find a way to install garmin inside my x6...i follow the way how they install the garmin into 5800,but it seem like not working for x6

Ah, I was actually having second thoughts about getting one.. Worried about lots of stuffs, n totally alien to the Symbian World. Don't know what is what, and too many info to digest. Oh, and I haven't go test the unit yet. But then again, I think I should just go for it  Take a big step, haha..

So far, the screen seems to be its best selling point. I wonder if its harder to use as it is only responsive to fingers compared to those with stylus? I tried before using friend's touch screen phone, usually ended up typing the wrong alphabet accidetally (with fingers), or maybe I'm not delicate enough 
Haha, won't open >10++ applications simultaneously, maybe 3 or 4 yup, I know. For that price, it's ok d.

I think the best selling point is it unbeatable speaker volumn.....

Oh, POGO? Is it commonly found? How much is it in Malaysia? Saw it on the web for $14.95. For touch-screen, usually after use, it's common to be smudgy and greasy, right? Will it decrease its sensitivity? Means, evday also have to clean it?
