My 5800 was stolen sadly.
LG Chocolate BL40, god the screen looked nice. However i read here from someone that it was a little sluggish.

Not all need them but some do. if you don't, buy another phone or the 16GB version.

It is inevitable, phones are getting more powerful, they can decode high quality videos, record quality videos for a longer time, display high quality pictures, play high quality sound. Quality medias are big in size. 32GB, in 2 year will be obsolete. Even i struggled with 8GB with my old 5800, my music alone was worth 6GB.

Better introduce big capacity now, so in the future, memory is cheaper.
Oh and BTW, it's the "Comes With Music" service that jacks up the price.

Simple, the memory card won't be as fast as a built-in memory. A bit of space is saved as well, as well as increased reliability.
It's up to memory card developers to come up with the technology to make memory cards as big in capacity and as fast as possible and as reliablke as possible. For now built in solid state memory is probably the fastest and most reliable.
Rumour has it that it is the successor of XpressMusic, so yeah probably if you say X-series people would assume XpressMusic. Has got more appeal to it don't you think. X vs W.

Yes, they look good don't they, wish they were steel though. Maybe an N-series version?

True. About the virus, ever since the introduction of certificates in the S60 3rd and onwards, they have been quite virus proof.

Unless if that faulty app starts up everytime you boot up the phone(like a theme), then yes, you're screwed.

They should really have a version without comes with music. I'm sure 200-300 will easily slip off its price tag. Then it would be a major competitor. i guess we have to wait for the phone to mature then to get the most out of our money.

Well, not really.
Sure the flash will affect quality of pictures, but only when the flash is needed. If you're taking a picture in broad daylight or in a well lit room, I'm sure it will do fine.
Sure, ditch the Comes With music, get the price down and install Xenon. Not exactly. Nokia won't just let it go. They have been working on it and spent lots of resources to get everyone downloading music legally for a year, which is inclusive of the phone's price. this is afterall a multimedia device and a smart phone.

the X6 is capacitive, it should (SHOULD) give better accuracy and response. Unless tested for yourself, you can never tell. If you want a slightly slimmer device and you dont need hardware QWERTY keypad, go for the X6, but if you feel that writing emails or replying to a post in a forum or FB'ing or whatever is easier and faster with a hardware keypad, the N97 is for you (plus it has a bigger screen).

Maybe they have been thinking about it. Who knows, maybe a competitor to SE's Satio is lurking in Nokia's R&D.

The box is rather boring though.
But oh my god I wish i had the money now!! This is one of those things that I get hand trembles if i don't have one.

The speakers or the headphone output. the latter is more important for me.
Also, when you play a music and lock the screen, is the volume rocker operational. It wasn't with my 5800 and it was quite annoying.

The 5800 does have its own dedicated audio chip. However, the one in the x6 might be a different one(and a better one).

So we get bigger of the same crap, and bigger crap is still crap, no better. They should at least employ a more sensitive sensor, if not a bigger one.

Well, a little improvement is better than none.
The best Nokia 5MP I've tested so far has been the N82. The pictures it takes, even in the dark were majestic.

I think the next move might be an AMOLED touchscreen. I can't wait itf that model comes out, maybe I should wait.

A capacitive screen does require slightly more power than resistive(see how it works). But then again, you require less brightness(if you actually take that advantage and use less brightness).

I think the phone will have a few hours less than the 5800 with practical use.

Unrealted, but has Nokia Malaysia ever had any pre-orders for a certain model?
