Don't forget that 1 egg yolk contains 2/3 of the recommended daily intake of cholesterol.
And sometimes there's eggs in other foods we take so keep a careful eye on this.
Heart attacks can hit even the most healthy person because cholesterol does not equal fat.

I'm a noob here so if anyone wants to correct this do feel free.

Interesting read about the eggs.

So many brands and so many types, will have to read like crazy to understand all of that lol.

Wana ask, is the Optimal Nutrition 100% Whey good? The 5lbs ones.

You really are clueless aren't you? Maybe you want to read the archives. We have more important things to discuss, like how to do bicep curls properly in the power rack.

Thanks for the help.
Hope that you'll never have to ask questions and find out everything in life by just reading.
You're epic.

And anyway, pretty sure you'd be able to find the 'proper' way somewhere online or in books.
Go google it or something.
Why discuss it here when it's probably been discussed in so many places before?
Go read it up.
Wait, does that make you clueless too?

sensitive? nolah.
Just pointing out that it's damn stupid to flame someone because he asked the opinion of more knowledgeable people on a certain brand of product.

Just started last wed to do the stronglift 5x5.
Yesterday was aching all over after Workout A lol.
That also just managed to do 3 1/2 out of 5 exercises.
Hmmm, so using a barbell is better than using the machine...only problem is that the uni gym is full of people using literally everything all the time...darn...so i just resorted to using the machine. (everybody wants the barbell)...

Also used dumbbells for the squats (just to try out for now). two on each side. Is it much less effective or is it an ok replacement for the barbell?
I foresee problems in using equipment in the near future...sigh...

dumbell can never substitute barbell in squat.
can you holding more than 50pound db bothside to do squat?
and the range of motion is totally different.
*
yeah realised that when was doing it.
i think i wanna go get my own barbell then.
Then I can actually do almost everything in my own room.
Any recommendations? Was looking at the tesco/giant/carrefour barbells. Good enough?

- darn except for the bench presses and inverse rows...arrgghhh

wooaahh, its difficult to balance the barbell while bench pressing lol.
Err, squated 40kgs today but was on the ok side (hope u guys don't laugh...). Pretty sure should be able to squat 50 at least. I weigh 62 kilos. So i shall aim for that first.
Today main2 in the gym cuz no one was there.
Tried everything, trying to get the form right like i see on the example vids etc.
Didn't really want to push it cuz muscles still freaking sore. Start seriously next week.
Only sad thing is that I can't do the chin-ups and overhead presses yet.
Wrist still injured...
Workout A no problem, WOrkout B a lot of problems sigh...
Any suggestions?

No no, i can do chinups no problem, so inverted rows is ok.
It's just because my wrists are injured so I can't really 'pull' with it for now.
Just gotta wait till it heals.

Just read an article where eating late at night really do make a person gain weight.
Subjects were divided into 2 groups.
Both given the same meals, same amount but at different times.
The group that was given meals at a later hour (late night) had a significant weight gain.
So the saying, Breakfast eat like a king, lunch eat like a prince and dinner ear like a commoner seems to be true. Oh yeah i might add, supper eat like a pauper lol.

I think sleeping 2 hours after u eat should be fine, but do try not too eat too much and follow the diets as recommended.
Divide into 6 meals a day and such.
But if u can't lower ur intake as the day progresses.

Now somebody has to post a link refuting this and we'll have an actual war...

Anyway, in most running/cycling programmes they always include a session of intense workout ie; a short burst of energy run like 100m, 200m sprints etc.
So most serious runners/cyclists do intervals very often too. The benefits are like some stated in the article and others.
