Yup , I cannot accept such person as my owner .

This made me lol. sweat.gif

PS it is common courtesy, i'd go so far as to say obligation for a house owner/chief tenant to let potential tenants have a look at the premises they want to rent out.

If the house owner refuses, the potential tenant has as much right to reject the offer to rent and get back any deposit paid.

Besides, if you aren't paying TAXES for renting out your house.... taulah apa jadi if any authorities hear about it.

THEN DONT RENT IT.  MY other tenant no problem with me, only this TS spoilt childish brat.!  doh.gif

Your terms are unreasonable, the TS's personality has no bearing on this. SHE has a right to protect HER OWN INTERESTS as well, and that means viewing the premises advertised before deciding whether she'd want to rent the place from you. Even condos and houses have model units for showing potential buyers.

Your terms put the potential tenant at an unfair disadvantage, and forces them to accept or lose RM480. How about YOU pay HER RM480 as 'deposit' to view your premises since you are so confident about your premises? And if she dun like your premises, your deposit is forfeit? Does that sound fair to you? No? Well those are how your terms look to her.

I will to let the TS to view tomorrow but TS wants it on 11/12. by then i already let out to other students. Got it.

Wait, let me get this straight.

You already promised the place to some other people, who presumably already pay RM480 each to rent even though they didn't even see the place yet.

Then TS says she's interested, and you tell her that she has to pay RM480 to view the place, and if she dun rent the money is forfeited, even though you already rent to other people.

hmm.gif

*edit* you already got people to rent, don't put unreasonable terms for people who're asking but whose time doesn't match with yours just to make them stop asking (even if they don't get the message).

You can simply ignore a user or report to mods if someone is spamming your PMs. Doing things like that will cause misunderstandings exactly like what is happening here.

I got some interest party who pm or contact me, thru the posted thread. I didnt get any cent from them. They know how the place look like bcos PRACTICALLY ALL THE ROOMS ARE THE SAME.

I said to TS, if TS wants the place, better put a booking 1 month incase other wants it. Why need to be forfeited when u want the room already??
*
Ok, you got a point of course, but it should occur to you that some people have not been to a similar condo apartment to yours, and therefore really don't know what the place looks like, and therefore would like to view the place before deciding?

If the person wants to see it later than you're willing to wait, after all first come first serve, then tell the person in no uncertain terms that it won't be available already at that point in time.

Simple solution, none of the drama.

RO Player, you really dun know how to rent places out, that is why you're facing all this problems. In business, there is ALWAYS give and take between all parties, and trust as well.

People lari after promise because your attitude, like the one you're displaying here. Students are not stupid you know. If you were a better landlord, you wouldn't have problems finding tenants.

When I was studying in both college and uni, the majority of my classmates were renting houses and rooms. There was rarely any problem finding tenants when students finish their course and move out.

I'll leave you to guess why.

Yes, shit always happen with students. Wants the best, cheap, and wonderful facilities but in the end 'ffk' with no or stupid reason given.  doh.gif

In the end, get no tenant, who suffer??
*
No, you use your own freaking brain first please. You talk as if you will lose something when students ask for better terms.

But I guess your obtuseness as pointed out by happy4ever, coupled with your DOG EAT DOG WORLD mentality makes those students look like they're trying to cheat you.

Students tend to spend more time in the place they stay VS working people, and their money comes from parents or study loan; do you begrudge them for wanting to have the most comfortable environment they can get with the amount of money available to them? Heck doesn't everyone for that matter?

If you're so 'selective' about tenants, and hate students so much, then don't rent your place to students. SIMPLE. EFFECTIVE. NO BRAINER.
