I think this could be frame more towards the center of the image. The curtains/window are too blown out, and your subject is framed too much by the side, it makes me wonder what are you trying to show, the subject, or the window/curtains.

If you can clone off the dirt on the wall, and the stray strands of her hair, it would be a perfect capture !

Nice capture, but I think if you had increased your f to something around 11 or so to capture the other birds with the blur background, it would tell a better story.

my light meter say correctly exposed but on my screen it look dark sad.gif
well I believe can photoshop to make it brighter

Brother, Canon mana ada D30?

Are you on matrix? Usually that's why they metering shows that way, because the overall picture is well exposed (you have a bright background)

WHOA! That's a very old camera. Doubt it's your monitor because on my screen the subject looks about 1/4 stop too under exposed. smile.gif

ISO Speed Ratings = 800
Shutter Speed (Exposure Time) = 1/640 second
Aperture = ƒ/1.8
Focal Length =50 mm

-The noise and colour are intended to create the old kopitiam feel. tongue.gif

If you have a slightly aged hand, that would be a complete picture. What is at the bottom right corner though? That's kinda distracting.

The sharpness may not be there, But i love the composition and the effect the flappign wings of the butterfly created..

Probably over-saturated LOL.

It's not sharp because your F too big. I like the colors.

Could have waited a little longer for the 2 felles to move, and the kanchil. Or it was your intention to have them there? 2 seconds exposure, they must be standing there very still.

If you change your position a bit so you don't shoot the leaves on the left of the signage, would be nice.

WOHHH BOY. Did I miss something?

Actually, if I don't feel like sharing my settings, then I rather not pose. Sure lights and the other variables change in each exposure (especially with arses around shitting everywhere) then again, if that's your so called trade secret, then don't post it up on a thread that is meant for sharing.

In fact, open yourself a new thread, put a catchy title, like "My trade secret" or something. Try to garner some supporters, perhaps with that, you can have people whoao .. or naaaaiiseee on your photos. Heck, get your pictures published, nat geo? no problem ma, right? Heck, even nat geo people share their settings. Guess you must be more pro then them. Can fly to the moon or not?

When you have 600mm, and birds, you would wish that you have something smaller. Me and hubby just got back from Japan, 2 days and we filled up more than 1TB of pictures. We were not gruesome enough to delete the 'bad' shots because most of the shots were pretty damn good. Check his flick, I think he will be posting them soon.

bro u r wrong(or sis just in case its the wify using=p)..nat geo guys share their exif..bcoz their trade secrets r their compo..their ideas..their skill sets which could not be imitated by simply following the setting in exif...but sometimes i feel that some photographers here...their best valuable asset is their camera/gears...if the exif is "leaked"..other forumers simply copy the setting..they might be getting same if not better picture...how u do expect people share that?? blush.gif
maybe my lcd isnt calibrated..i feel that the shot can be slightly brighter..and gosh..i love ur description there ^^

Haih!! You are wrong already.

You see, we share cameras, share food, share our kid, share the bed but never never never never ever ever we share our LYN account. Just like how Ne-Yo would say.

People don't share because they are afraid. 67 million people in the world, you are not the only person who can take such picture just because a little information is 'leaked'.

I feel that the picture is okay, 1/4 under. Night time already ma, view things also must 1/4 stop down.
