@climacool: I like the bokeh. However, there's some blur. It was a night shot, why not bring your ISO up to 400 to utilize a slightly faster shutter speed to minimized blur?

@lwliam: He messed up the white balance. It should be warmer and not so "cool".

@lwliam: You Photochopped the picture in 10 mins (including upload). May I know how do you alter the WB in Photoshop? Sorry for this noob question, I'm still newbie at Photoshop.
Added on November 23, 2009, 1:26 amBtw, I'm using CS4 Extended, if that helps.

actually, it jz took me 2 mins to edit the pic, coz my photoshop loading damn slow...
open up levels, pick either white or grey eyedropper, and select the white point (in this case the boy's shirt) at this point, the arms will turn grey like the previous photo aka silver surfer, use a lower opacity black brush to spray over the image's mask to mask out the silver parts, showing back a bit of warmth. flatten and save
Added on November 23, 2009, 1:35 amoh, and i brightened the image a little using levels, ori pic a bit underexp.

@climacool: What mode were you on? How about put it on "Av" (Aperture Priority). Set the Aperture to F1.8 (your 50mm F1.8) and put ISO to 400. The camera will automatically detect your shutter speed to *prevent* underexposure/overexposure. Just my 2 cents.
@melurd: The green is just so awesome. Not to mention the sharpness of the water droplets. We're you using Sony's Kit Lens and was it PP-ed?
