looks like the pics from the cheap filter is similar with no filter...
B+W tends to underexpose... or the lighting condition was changed?

@! Love Money, it looks like when he uses the "cheap filter", the picture doesn't look underexposed...

dont know why, using the same setting get the result like this.

I can see an obvious different with no filter and cheap filter.
The cheap filter can't even clear the haze much,
u see the cheap filter has right exposure is because the haze, and make much less contrast/saturation with the color.
