General manager Pietro Lo Monaco has confirmed Catania will sell Manchester United target Takayuki Morimoto at the end of the season.

Ferguson kept to his promise of keeping faith with his current squad by refusing to bring in any new faces on transfer deadline day but emerging Serie A talent Morimoto has been earmarked as a potential future signing.

Lo Monaco has admitted Catania have no realistic chance of keeping hold of the 20-year-old Japanese striker and are likely to cash in at the next opportunity.

"We'll transfer him to a big club at the end of the season," Lo Monaco told Asahi Shimbun.

"We, only a small club, can do nothing more for him.

"We've already received important offers from England and France this summer as well.

Why can't Macheda join the unregistered 25 since he's born after that age, which then can free up a space for Tosic

great news that hargreaves was included into the list..mean his coming back healthy if not SAF wont risk it.. hope he back in time to anchor the midfield or play as back up right back like against chelsea at moscow....
