Anyway................. as usual. Every January in each year, Nike will always launch a new training/polo t-shirt range for United and other nike sponsored teams like Arsenal, Barca, Inter etc etc..

My verdict: Poor design. Surprisingly this year's new year training kit and t-shirt polo range is a huge let down because normally they are better than the early season (mid year) training kit and t-shirt polo range. Example of good new year training kit designs were the Jan 2009 and Jan 2007. Jan 2008 wasn't bad either.

*These new year training kit range always appears on January every year.. They are the 2nd round of nike training kit range after the 1st range was launched along together with the team's new replica kit on every new season (mid year).

And we can see that nike is using Dri-Fit technology for the football kit apparel. So I guess the new replica jerseys for World Cup 2010 and next season (2010/11) might follow suit as well....

I have two simple questions for you. Does the price tag have any barcode sticker? What is written at the bottom of the long silver tag that is with the price tag? www.nikefootball.com or manutd.com?

The Pompey kit looks good in the website, but not as good in real life. Anyways, i bought it too. I'm a big fan of Pompey kits coz Canterbury makes really good kits. The Home kit is on offer too. You bought it d?

my friend went to this warehouse sales and snapped some pics and mms to me and......he bought it





i meet him later to see the jersey.i dont think it is kick off jersey because it have the same sleeve's cuffs like the replica kit.my friend bought 2 jerseys and both have same serial number inside.i think it is not an authentic jersey.correct me if i'm wrong.

is that a l/s shirt? from what i can gather, there is no l/s for kick off version, the Crest and chevron looks dodgy also.

no..it's s/s jersey..the crest so bad..and another thing bout the crest,when i flip the jersey,the red devil is embroidered through the jersey..i dont think it's kick off jersey coz it have all the replica kit specs..plus the quality is bad..luckily my friend get the refund for both jersey..huh~

But to really confirm it's fake, inside the price tag, there should be one tag that has a sticker written 'Launch Date: August 2009'. This is how it looks like:

If this tag is missing, then it's fake.

Even the current new home kit has a tag that has the launch date sticker on it:

If this is missing, it's highly likely fake.

Well.. so far I like the pompey third. Haven't got the home kit yet. I like the third because it has collars and it's black.

The yellow and black training top is for UCL.

One thing that caught my eye is the washing tag:



The korean sizing is 105. 105 is for Large size. XL should be 110, XXL is 115. Unless for asian sizing (nike training or plain jerseys sold for asian market) or even the asian national team country replica jerseys like the malaysia home and away, the korean sizing is drop down to 1 size.. which is XXL is 110, XL is 105. That is for asian market...

And the barcode sticker on the price tag too looks strange.. it started with a digit '6'. Normally it starts with a number '8', not '6'.

Bro, tell your friend.. to keep the receipt where he bought it. Go to Nike Sales's HQ office at the curve and lodge a complaint.. They will take further actions..

the crest supposed to be slightly bigger than the V thing.

Faiz, that black away Man Utd shirt is confirm fake bro. The chevron doesn't have the crest overlapping it. And the crest looks too flat and without the devil bulging out...Plus NikeFIT wrongly embroidered.

The other home red shirt also confirm fake. Wrong print on the sizing at the back of the neck area. Plus the crest shape is odd and uneven.

I've order the Man Utd 3rd jersey from United direct store.

It was shipped by Royal Mail (I used the standard delivery).

Want to ask how long it takes? Before this I used the express (UPS delivery) it only takes 2 days
