i think the best way is to buy dehumidifier... if you think thirsty hyppo is too expensive, then buy brand carrefour... rm1.99 per pc only...

hello JCs..im new here but i noe bout this thread 1 years ago n im still new in collecting jersey..
my 1st jersey was man utd 97/99 away (got it from bundle and really2 need some1 to verify the authencity - later i will post the pict) icon_question.gif
i already have a complete man utd jersey for this season and last season as well (including 09/10 home jersey that i purchased from kitbag - thanx to jerseyman for the recomendation!!  icon_rolleyes.gif  )

im still learning and im hope all the JCs can guide me.. biggrin.gif

welcome welcome...
regarding 97/99 away jersey, if i'm not mistaken, in 1990s, the imitation technology is not as good as the current one... so, we can verify the authenticity of it by just looking at it...
btw, since you got the jersey from bundle, you must get it cheaply right? so, if it is authentic, then what a bargain... wow... rclxms.gif

Last weekend, i went to KL for shopping at Jalan TAR... I made a quick survey at fake jersey sellers across Pertama Complex... In terms of imitation quality of fake jerseys, they already improved a lot. hmm.gif
And the fake jersey of the new Manchester United 2009/2010 home & away almost look similar to the authentic ones. But i forgot to check the washing tag... sweat.gif
But one thing for sure, they can't embroider Red Devil symbol on the crest properly, because they all look like this:

how about u all?

Yes... It is authentic... It got the correct size information, washing tags & nike swoosh tag. And another way to verify the authenticity of the shirts is by 'terbalikkan' the jersey like this pic:

Saw 1 ebay seller at SG selling ManUtd kit with printing only @ S$79, but he only got size M & XL. I msg him ask for other size, he replied me this.
Dear ic3rock,

Hi, Nike do not produce all sizes in same factory. In order to prevent imitations, they will assige different factory to produce their jerseys. If i have all sizes means i get it from imitations factory. Thanks

So, its a cheap reject,
I think I saw this selling cheap in bandung last time, around rm50 if im not mistaken. I thought it was fake, and ignore it.
*

QUOTE(schmeichel7 @ Sep 8 2009, 02:35 PM)
There was a story about that away kit...
It was the first time Nike Indonesia made those kits.. And initially there were 'rejected stocks' because they didn't pass the QC level set by Nike.
So these jerseys were everywhere at Bandung's FO stores there...
To say about it's authenticity.. it's a bit tricky... but it's not a good quality product.

QUOTE(zaidizero @ Sep 8 2009, 02:36 PM)
I see, luckily didnt buy-it-now,
already got the NNs and starball but no shirt. LOL
*

Sorry for late... Do you think the 2006/2007 MU away shirt still available at bandung? My friend is going there next month. I'm desperately need this jersey, size XL... icon_question.gif

hmm desperately because i like the design and colour of the jersey... it's so hard to get it now... maybe because of the 'reject' quality problemo... blush.gif

never saw any fake kids' jerseys with that quality thus i think they are authentic
*

QUOTE(thebilis @ Sep 10 2009, 12:13 AM)
thanks..thats mean all kids size are genuine..am i rite?
*

QUOTE(schmeichel7 @ Sep 10 2009, 12:48 AM)
That's not true. There are also fakes for kids size but not so accurate like the fakes for men sizes.
*

Normally, fake jerseys for kids got no brand logo (nike, adidas, etc), and their quality are really bad...
QUOTE(zaidizero @ Sep 10 2009, 01:17 AM)
Last time I saw that jersey is at the heritage in bandung, very famous shop located in the city centre,
But that was like 2.5 years ago during my honeymoon.
Now I got 3 months baby already.
Oh my, how the time flies. LOL
*

I think no more already la... doh.gif but i will still try to ask my friend to look for it... Thanks...

Hi guys...
I have a Manchester United 2006/2007 home jersey size XL. This jersey fit nicely with my body...
If I want to buy the 2006/2007 away jersey size XXL, do you think it's ok with me or it will be very baggy? I don't mind if it slightly bigger as I couldn't find size XL of this jersey until now... I don't know if the size and cutting of home and away jersey is similar or not...

Huh, u wear size XL?  rclxub.gif

The pic that person not u? If is u, from i see size L should fit u le.

But for nike ManUtd kit, like got problem with cutting problem. 08/09 ManUtd home kit, i tried XL look cant fit me, but this season 1, i tried L just fit so i bought size L,  sweat.gif
*
Yes, I'm the one in the avatar... I'm tall got broad shoulder & long arms although i'm skinny... that's why i prefer XL for nike jerseys for past few seasons... for the umbro or earlier nike, size L would be fine... I just wonder about the size of 06-07 away jersey because the home one design is quite body fit and XL is just ngam ngam... So, I just want to know whether the away XXL is not too big because can't find XL till now...

It is big. I advice that you go for XL or L.

You can try look for this jersey at ebay..... Sometimes it appears so try look for it there first.
*
thanks bro, you save my money from buying the XXL one and after that have to let go because of 'menyesal'... rclxub.gif
hmmm... maybe i have to be patient... i only can buy form local sellers because i don't have credit card/paypal... blush.gif

If u got no paypal, no worries. U can go search in the service section in LYN "ebay payment service". I bought many jerseys through a guy name FCUK89, who has a paypal account. He is very reliable and can be trusted..
Here's the link.
