what i know, for AC Milan, there was different NNs used for Series A and UCL for season 06/07...

So, for current season, should be the same because i have also get R80 for my Milan Home...

Not mistaken is RM90....
*
QUOTE(ghoster @ Jan 13 2010, 09:16 PM)
unlike EPL, all teams in serie a got their own NN style, depend on the sponsor i guess. im not sure about other team, but milan use same NN in serie a and CL
*
redyap is correct. For the 06/07 season where Milan were the UCL champions, they had 2 different namesets only for the home kit.

Milan had the same gold coloured namesets that they used during the 04/05 and 05/06 season:

But for the UCL, the used white coloured namesets:

The away kit and third kit uses the same namesets for the Serie A and UCL.

thanks ckimy biggrin.gif
im saving up for serie a and CL winner patches, wanna put it on my 08-09 and 09-10 milan jeseys biggrin.gif

btw, is the size measurement between player issue and replica jersey the same?
*
For adidas.. almost similar. For nike, player issue has smaller cutting compared to the same size replica jersey.

Just want to share my latest DIY activity...

Last month, while visiting Indonesia I found this Everton 09/10 Away jersey:

But the FO store is only selling super duper jumbo sized versions of the Everton away kit:

I managed to find one size lower (XXXL) but still it is damn huge (56/58 inches...):

I planned to DIY remove the Chang sponsors.. So I went to Cold Storage and bought this:

I opened the bottle's cap, poured the solution and soaked the jersey's area where the sponsors are with the solution for 1/2 hour. Then I did all my best to remove the PU sponsors (scrubbing it off). Here's the final results:

QUOTE(nimrod2 @ Jan 15 2010, 08:58 AM)
can iron out the creases?
*
Can.. Since this jersey was cheap when I bought it (Rp100k or RM36.40), I took the gamble to do whatever I want... I made the jersey slightly damp (washed it and spin dried it using my washing machine) and set the iron to maximum heat.. I ironed the remainings from the PU sponsors... Since there is water remaining on the jersey, I could iron it at maximum heat. Don't ever set your iron to max and iron a dry jersey.. it will definitely ruin it.

Almost 100% removed.. some very minor remains can still be seen but not a lot...

QUOTE(redyap @ Jan 15 2010, 08:59 AM)
hi jerseyman, if wanna remove the badge, where we should pour the solution, back side the badge (inside the jersey) right??
*
Yup. Terbalikkan first your jersey and pour the solution there. I soaked it where I found a small cup shaped container, placed the jersey inside it and poured the solution.

wah, damn cheapĀ  shocking.gif
*
Well.. it's cheap because the Le Coq factory is in Indonesia. Even the umbro and nike ones also.... The new england home kit and upcoming away is made in indonesia..

When I went, the money exchange was Rp1 million = RM364. Now it's Rp1 million = RM376..

QUOTE(ckimy @ Jan 15 2010, 03:12 PM)
WoW... it's damn cheap la....

but the size.... who gonna wear that? wear when sleeping?
*
Yup it's cheap. Because of the sizing, it's not popular and demand is low. So I manage to find one at a store in Indonesia.

I even manage to buy these 2 Stoke City jerseys made by le coq:

user posted image
Stoke City Home 07/08

user posted image
Stoke City Away 08/09

I got the home kit for Rp80,000 or RM29.12 (364 X 0.08) while the away kit was Rp70,000 or RM25.48 (364 X 0.07). Cheap huh? Brand new some more..

Both are XXL.

QUOTE(Makakeke @ Jan 15 2010, 04:13 PM)
Jerseyman, can this be used to removed felt NNs?
*
Yes but again.. there will be glue stains left.

QUOTE(nimrod2 @ Jan 15 2010, 04:29 PM)

QUOTE(Everdying @ Jan 15 2010, 07:45 PM)

i just sent it for dry cleaning also cannot help.
*
Correct.. for dark jerseys.. it should be less visible (the glue stains).

Hi Guys, hope u all can help me,

Recently I bought a ferdinand 5 from wiggy, and I have a doubt regarding the font that being used.

Wiggy ones:

From getty:

the obvious one is at the no.5, it looks entirely different from what's the player is wearing.
My question is did united ever used the font as wiggy selling in any of UCL matches?
If not, I would want a refund ! LOL
*
Bro.....

It is different because the one shown from wiggy is for the 03-04 season....

The white third kit was worn for 3 season.. 03/04, 04/05 and 05/06.

The photo you showed is when United played in the 05/06 UCL season.... for the 05/06 season, the UCL namesets followed the man united home 04-05 (similar style to the Euro 2004 nameset). During the 03/04 season, the UCL namesets used by United were similar to the World Cup 2002 nike namesets, like the one you showed from wiggy lah.

No need to worry lah...

*The black away was not used in the UCL season 2004-2005. But still, you can still use the 2004-2006 white UCL nameset and apply it

I see, I understand now, you truly is a jersey specialist.
Thanks shmikes.

Is there any guides for NNs like the one you did on patches previously?
*
Yup, there is one at the my-fjc forum but that's more to starball usage. Bear in mind, the photos I showed to you were the only nike design UCL namesets that were used by Man Utd. Beginning 2006-07, they started to use man united's copyrighted nameset design, although the design is still similar to nike's font.

QUOTE(Makakeke @ Jan 16 2010, 11:51 AM)
Which one would you recommend if I were to remove felt NN? The dylon stain remover or stain devil? The stain remover looks easier and safer, is it?
*
Both are similar in strength. Difference is, is that Dylan smells bad but the bottle contains 75ml solution. While the stain devils bottle contains 50ml solution. Both are priced the same.

No difference in strength. Both will leave glue stains after you remove the nameset.

Ask something ...

who know the lextra NNs can tahan how many years ?
Over 5 years can ma ?
*
Good question.

I think it can last for eternity haha.. just kidding.

As long as you keep it well and make sure you don't lipat your jersey, try to wash, spin dry it gently and iron it to ensure the glue bonding is solid.. it can last more than 10 years..

But one thing that might not be unavoidable is that the NNs will turn yellowish in the future running.. I have a jersey that is 11 years old and the EPL lextra NNs are still intact.

Last time it was always 100 for white kits and 010 for black kits..

Now it's random...

Believe it or not, last time, United's home jersey red colour is coded as 666. Nice huh...
