English version is english version, International is international version. It is not the same.... most of Square Enix International version are pathetic becoz they are in JP except for FF10 tat allow you to choose Eng Text + Eng Voice Over, the rest at most just let you choose English Voice (and i onli know FF12 International allow u to choose Eng VO where the rest are in Moon Language).

They basically name it International Version becoz it is region free (back in PS and PS2 era), and it is an update version of the JP game (mostly release a 1 year after the English Version) adding in additional stuff so it can increase sales on a dated game.




Lets hope they put the english in it like the FF10 or else it is not really worth waiting tat long (1 year usually).

To me i would be more happy if on the JP release date, SE announce that there will be a Asia R3 version tat stay the same as JP version except the choice of selecting English text while the voice stay JP. And the R3 version will be release a month later than the JP R2 version.
This will be a more exciting news than the R1 version for me. If they do have such planning..... just like Demon Soul.

The onli R3 game gonna be in Chinese will most likely be GT5 considering the previous game also got chinese text.

Still holding some hope for JP voice over + english text.

For me the FF8 song was a legend.... Eyes on Me from Faye Wong was my favorite! Although i did not like the story of FF8 but the song is thumbs up

I dunno whether i can resist it long enough or not.... but i was thinking of just skipping the US version and wait for the real International version which may release one year later which MAY consist of English Text + JP VO....

To be honest Dato Siti Nurhaliza is nothing in R3 market, not tat i wont to put down any local Malaysian Artist but.... just for the sake of ppl tat understand Malay is like not even reaching 1% of the population of Asia. U have a bigger market if u talk Indon or Chinese.

Then again they wont even be a R3 version..... do they announce anything R3 at all????

IMHO Siti Nurhaliza is also ok what....much more better lookin than that Sayuri Sugawara, siti is more 'markatable'

i just hope the R3 is JP vocal with English Text but the chances are really low eventhough it is really easy to do so since both version are already finish by now. I believe the Asia Market will love it more than the R1 version.

Then again they isnt any J-RPG got such a treatment before..... all R3 version are just directly the same as the R2 JP version which is a big let down.... just like our Asia PSN with lots of tittles in JP... do the marketing team of Sony thinks that all ASIAN know Japanese?????
