hello, this is my 1st time buying house.m working in sri hartamas area.was told by a friend to have a look at this place Puchong Angkasa
is this place a good buy? security/traffic
can i get a better house with rm700k?

i believe not puchong if u can afford 700k, unless u only want a better house but not better environment.

but this place is actually not really puchong...quite near to midvalley
i cant get semi d with 700k elsewhere...things r so expensive nowadays..i've survey semi ds near this area..all cost 1.2m at least..very tough decision

what type of houses u mean ?

let me give u a general view on prices of houses in puchong :-

1) old 2 storey houses in Bdr Kinrara 22 x75 ranges from RM350K to RM500K

2) 2 storey terrace houses at Lake Edge 24x80 ranges from RM500K onwards

3) Bandar Puteri 2 storey terrace houses from RM380K to RM570K (latest ZARRA)

4) Taman Puchong Prima 20 x 65 new phase RM350K onwards...

5) 2 1/2 storey Vistaria terrace Bdr Puchong Jaya superlink from RM750K onwards...

Perhaps he can look for a 2 1/2 storey freehold terrace house in Taman Bukit Desa next door neighbourhood to Taman Seputeh, less than 3 minutes drive to Mid Valley Megamall. For Semi-D is impossible to get this kinda price in OKR area. Those RM700k is near the bridge area in Bandar Kinrara section 1 area Puchong.

tmn bukit desa area too much high tension towers...how to stay there?
electromagnetic field leh...
old terrace there cost around rm600k there...immediately facing high tension towers
if i buy one...after some renovation..end up rm700k also...
aih...really hard to decide

Earlier last month there is one terrace house there selling for RM500k plus as owner is leaving to migrate,not facing the tower at all but its on leasehold status. You miss the boat. tongue.gif


the tower are build recently only and half-way the project stop due to residents in Taman Bukit Desa and Taman Desa protest. The Tenaga still not decided yet to continue with the tower project or dismantle them as the things is still under negotiation.

If you scare of high tension wire, I think you have to look further away from OKR but your budget is a bit difficult to get a semi-d in "wong" area. The only place for your budget I can think of is only Cheras.

500k+ for an old house...need renovation right? leasehold somemore...not very worth actually...
the whole taman desa is full of high tension towers..how can tnb build towers in the middle of housing area..aih..ppl can protest..but can never stop them..
this puchong angkasa location cant beat tmn desa..but quite good also..its not actually puchong yet..its beside kinrara, near oug and old klang road..

the last unit by developer sold liao..aih..now left sub sale..need rm810k..aih..dream broken jor..think for few days need extra rm100k

ya you still need to do renovation becos the house I reckon already around 20 years old.

Actually, why do u need such a big house like Semi-D, for your kind of budget you can easily even get a corner lot double storey house in Bandar Kinrara or Bandar Puteri Puchong, you should survey more area before you plan your downpayment.

All those hot area in Taman Desa and Taman Bukit Desa nowadays already become thiefs and robbers target compare to 10 years back. 2 weeks back my parents just kena break-in,they cart away his 52 inch lcd tv with a van mad.gif

aiyo...bandar kinrara and puteri puchong is so far leh...my choice is pj/oug/tmn desa/kepong/bdr utama only...
i have seen at least 100 houses..new and old..
terrace at these areas all above 500k...renovation another 100k+
kepong new development 500k can get 3 storey terrace but leasehold
in the end i found this semi d is the best..worth my money..within my budget...no need let bank untung interest..but now price is 800k jor...really regret that day didnt put deposit

ya no doubt what u get is semi-d but the surrounding area don't have anything for your convenient, still you either have to drive down to Taman Kinrara or Bandar Kinrara or OUG for food and shopping which takes about 5-10 minutes or another 15-20 minutes to USJ,Sunway or 20-25 minutes to OKR or Mid Valley or 30-35 minutes to The Curve/Mutiara Damansara.

Bandar Kinrara where got far boss, its only another 5-10 minutes away from the place you choose. Kepong to me is really super duper far and the traffic jam I can't imagine. For Kepong area, the best location I can think of is only the Desa Park City but i'm afraid will break ur budget laugh.gif

maybe u should take a more thorough look at Puchong, not each n every part of Puchong is bad, it depend on which area,even Mutiara Damansara hv some "grey" area.

This place is back to back with Taman Sentosa, Off Jalan Kelang Lama. shocking.gif not a good area to stay in b'cos,
lots of gangs, drugs & robbery at that area..so beware

In Ampang area near the Carrefour there you can get a new double storey bangalow for RM750,000 maybe you like to consider too.

Go and check that place, its near Carrefour and quite a nice place to stay too. You can see a big sign board still on display for the bangalow. smile.gif
