I have tested Youtube on N900 and it seems the video lagged and then freeze after few seconds of streaming.

Any owner care to share ?

Don't play straight away, flash videos seems take up some resources. Wait a while and try to play, it should get smoother, but hard to get super smooth. Hopefully the next update will fix this issue, and not sure if there will be Flash v10 support drool.gif

Sometimes when the phone is slow (usually after few days never restart), might cause some lagging problem as well, to make it simple, a restart will improve the phone performance again.

Read that the next firmware PR1.2 will have option to free the memory usage.

That depends, if it's running smoothly, there's not really need to restart; But if you face auto-restart problem, you should check the bootcount and manually restart to prevent some problems; Install HealthCheck which can help you check the Boot Count.

I think nowadays most people don't off the phone during sleep. Not sure how many still does it.

I highly recommend you to purchase original set when its out.
Firstly you must first understand where AP phones are from?

Original sets are backup by team of experts and they have spare parts to immediate attend to your problem. Nokia Centre in Sunway Pyramid they usually resolve problem within hours except if that particular parts are out of stock.

AP phones = They give u 18 months warranty or 24 months warranty
Have you wonder AP phones who supply the spare parts to them? To them every parts for them to repair cost money. AP company are usually small to medium company so imagine how many units they need to sell to cover their cost? If the problem is big they usually tell u no spare part and let you wait few months.

Original phones are back by Nokia directly.

Video call haven't be supported in N900 so far.

To current AP set N900 owners, which AP company is your warranty provider?
